You have to look at how the mentality changes one game at a time. We should be shutting these guys out, but the Steelers smell fear and inexperience in our offense and have gained confidence. They believe they can beat us now because we gave them that confidence and they might actually be right. We might not be able to turn this game around because the problem with our O in this matchup is found from the neck up.

JimmyG is not the only one who is struggling. He is accurate when he is confident. He will be fine with more experience. Our whole team will be fine with more experience. It's just not gonna happen this year.

We scored 14 points off of two turnovers.

They scored 6 points off of five turnovers.

Idk all I've been hearing from 2015-18 was how good teams capitalize off of turnovers and bad teams don't

pretty much.

IDC if we're getting ugly wins. we've ALWAYS been on the losing end of these kinds of games for years. the good teams find a way to win, no matter how it's done. they beat the teams they're supposed to beat. if we make the playoffs, how we beat the steelers on this weekend, on that day, won't matter. what matters is we got the W.

period.

The Offense may have looks crap but here are the stats of both teams in yardage and first downs etc -

Steelers …….49ers
11 First downs 26
239 Total Yards 436
160 Pass Yards 268
79 Rush Yard 168

Our Offense and Defense combined won this game. The defense shut them down and they could not limit our offense despite forced errors and unforces errors by our offense.

They put a chart up showing all the 5 turnover games we ever had and this is the only game we won.

Actually...I can think of at least one that we got. Jan 10, 1982. 6 turnovers...3 interceptions, 3 fumbles. Beat the Cowpukes on our way to our first SuperBowl ever. History repeating?
