Pass rush was ok. The Packers had a concerted effort to get the ball out fast and chip our defensive ends to buy Rodgers a little more time.

I think the problem was that we have an injured/inexperienced secondary and some coverage issues. One of the TD's was Lenoir not dropping back in Cover 2 when he had no one to guard in the flat. The linebackers' coverage depth in the end was a little bit shallow, considering the Packers were using people to chip and they would either only throw into the deep middle or to the sidelines.

My hope is that Demeco Ryans and our younger defensive backs learn from this. Teams are going to play like this because they're afraid of our pass rush. The good thing for us is that only a handful of QB's can probably attack us like Rodgers did tonight.

From the TV angle, I have no idea how they didn't throw a flag here. Ebukam gets literally hooked into the ground. But maybe it'll look different when we see the all-22.

How can you not call that? Inexcusable.

But any contact by any DB is a flag.
couldn't even beat up on backup o-linemen. It's time to stop blowing smoke up their ass, honestly. Outside of Bosa, what do you really have?

This is not the 2019 DL. That's for sure.

Two years ago the defensive line didn't even allow Rodgers to even look down the field in the two games. The line would have had zero sacks in flag football tonight. It's remarkable how far this unit has fallen since 2019. And this was supposed to be the strength of the team.

I wonder what's missing from 2019? It's not like we had an all pro interior lineman

Armstead was downright unblockable that year. He reminded me of that contract season Stubblefield had in 1997. Buckner anchored that line like a boss. Even role players like Jones, Day, and Thomas contributed in limited capacity. This unit hasn't shown any of those signs yet.
Amazing how a new contract will motivate you. He got paid and back to being average. It was a special d line in 2019. It's gone

My God look how late AA is off the snap.

Man, AA again is just so slow off the snap. Almost every play

Wow AA what in the hell was that. However, poor #56 on the next completion got bent backwards on an obvious no holding call. That would of ended the game

literally every beat writer was saying its a great d line

Yeah beat writers watch one team and repeat their names over and over. They are also watching them go against a terrible OL in camp and practice
There's only 1 elite defender in the D-Line and he's coming back from a ACL. Got to stop saying we have a elite D-Line.

They sure weren't elite tonight.
Bosa gets doubled, held, and chipped all game, and the rest of the DL gets no pressure. I don't get it.
