OL got one, lets show the other big uglies some love. A couple good performances from some of our back ups. I think Day is a solid DT rotation player, then with Sully, AA, Taylor, DJ, i think the interior looks good playing alongside Buckner. The DEs looks like the biggest issue, the backs up at least. They looked terrible against Cowboys 1st team OL. Hopefully we dont stay in house and pick up a rotational pass rusher who can do some damage. Valoaga looked pretty good against back ups, but any decent pass rusher can dominate 3rd string OL.

Also, just a thought after the Colts/Texans game today:

I know everyone wants Buckner back, but what about giving Ryans a call and asking about Danielle Hunter?

One year extension. Would be owed $1M this season and $30M next season from a trading team.

Tbh I am thinking playoffs. Run stuffer and just better pass rush would make such a difference. This worked against the cardinals today but I'm worried it won't against the better teams.

For Jeffrey Simmons who signed for three years maybe. Vita Vea was a one year extension though, doesn't make it that much less likely IMO

Only a 1 year extension you say 🤔 don't get my hopes up

Vea is exactly what this defense is missing but if the Bucs did shop him at the deadline the Rams and now maybe even the Raiders if they continue on a tear will be in on the bid

I wouldn't so easily dismiss them but you are right about that, I figure Vea is worth the equivalent of a 1st but if there are multiple bidders it could become a 1st+ we just saw Dexter go for a top 10 pick

Agree, that Osa missed sack would have iced the game earlier in my opinion. But a healthy Osa and a healthy Bosa in the playoffs would be my ideal DLine combo.

Agree and I was impressed with what limited playes i saw with Valdez. I thought he had a pretty good bull rush and was pretty strong in anchoring that middle of the defense. Again I only saw a couple of plays with him there. Hoping some YouTuber will break down his game film.

Halton is awesome. I really think this team just needs a true NT & our interior DL will be really good. On the EDGE we're beat up but Keion White looks good. Can't wait for Mykell Williams to comeback. I think he's going to help tremendously in the run game setting the edge. End of the day they will eventually need another true EDGE that can rush the passer even if we assume Bosa will comeback and be fine the rest of the year.
