Would absolutely love it if they traded for Trey Hendrickson!!! Everyone talking about Myles Garrett and Maxx Crosby and rightfully so. But don't sleep on Trey Hendrickson, back to back 17.5 sack seasons in '23 and '24, throw some picks at Cincy and get it done!!!

The issue with all those moves(and I'd love to add any of those 3) is you're looking to pay those guys.

Now I feel like every time these days I've said "Team X can't make this move because they can't pay him" they make the move lol. So anything is possible and I'm sure to go all in you can make it work somehow.

But as Lynch said we have to try and get younger....cheaper would also be great. Rams rebuilt their whole starting DL in 2 years. They have 4 excellent starters who can't even TRY to renegotiate their deals until after this season is over and the 2 who would be eligible wouldn't break the bank.

Now that 11th pick is premium so if we can swing a trade for one of those guys(I don't think Hendrickson would cost that much) then you're getting a proven NFL stud vs an unknown so you do it. If it takes a lot more than the 11th then I think smart thing is to stay away.

Bringing in one of those guys isn't enough. We need to hit this draft in a big way to infuse youth and talent to our OL/DL.

Yes Hendrickson is 30 and will have to be paid. But Hendrickson still has a lot left in the tank and the 49ers have the cap space to do it and the ability to create more space. Sure Lynch wants to get younger like he said, but I don't think you have to do it at every position right now. And Hendrickson would be a lot cheaper draft capitol wise than the other two, like you said. If the price is right and a contract can be worked out at the same time, I don't see how the 49ers lose out in this one.

No way are we going to have the two highest paid defenders in the league on the same d line. Hendrickson is going to break the bank.

Naw they all gonna break the bank. I think they pass on all of them due to salary.

They wouldn't pass on them at all if they could be acquired. But both Cleveland and Vegas has stated that they're not trading them.

IDL needs way more help. Two good ERs won't help out the DL that much without a better interior.

Hendrickson would be awesome definitely not #11 maybe in some type of trade down, I imagine the Bengals would be looking for draft capital this year. There's no way the Raiders trade us Crosby. I'm still on board on trying to get Myles. I get the concern of cap space but matching him with Bosa would elevate the entire defense including DT.

Safe thing would be getting either Mack or Joey Bosa (both are intrested in coming here) to rotate with Flyod. I can see Mack pushing hard to get a ring before he retires and Bosa's morale would be boosted playing with his brother.

I would like to get Garrett also, but not for a 2025 #11.

Get garret and somehow draft Graham or Nolen or Caldwell ..
No more 30+ year old expensive players. Haven't we learned our lesson already??

IDL rookie to pair with Maliek Collins or another veteran via free agency. A lot picks and a lot of cap space to take care of the D-line. No way Hendrickson cost the 11th pick. I'd give up a 2nd or two 3rd round picks for Hendrickson.
Get Myles Garrett, draft both Kenneth Grant (DT, Michigan) & Deone Walker (DT, Kentucky). Draft Will Johnson or Maxwell Hairston (CB) & Malaki Starks or Nick Emmanwori (Safety). In this years draft we should build up our D and become the Monsters of the West. Build up our O-Line in the later rounds...

I heard an interview with Terron Armstead yesterday. He's a 5 time pro bowl tackle. They asked him who is the toughest guy he's had to block in his career. He said Garrett is great but Crosby ws the guy he hated to face because he was relentless. He described him as someone who plays like a guy just brought up from th practice squad that is fighting to stay in the lineup on every play.

How many first round picks do you think we have?
