I just saw that the odds for the game have the Niners favored by 4 1/2. They opened at 3. When you consider how many players are being held out by the Niners it makes me wonder who is going to play for Dallas if the odds have actually gone up. Maybe their cheerleaders are suiting up. I don't know who bets on pre season games but you really are taking a guess if you do,

That is interesting. They must be having serious injuries too.

I may try and attend this game, but those parking prices tend to keep me away.

No Zeke, no edge rushers, maybe more... I don't know how important that is in practice game #1, though. I would think that 3rd string QB and 3rd string secondary would be the most important. I don't know how many of these things I've seen decided with points piled up in scrub time.

Exactly. That's why I don't know why people would bet on these game. It's pretty much a 50/50 chance since you have no control and little knowledge of who will play and for how long. Like you said, it seems like some obscure player has a big 4th quarter and wins the game. The some fans go wild and start pumping the guy up. Players come and go and rules change but pre season games remain a joke.
3 preseason games in 10 days? That sounds pretty dangerous for the players health.

If everyone was playing full games sure, but 1 to 2 series, or 1 quarter? Don't know about that.

probably leaning into the quality of the back-ups for each team. particularly, which back-up QB is most likely to lead the most productive O

I don't hate TO for doing that. Part of me was glad he got the balls to do it to the Cowboys. They've been talking s**t and doing in your face endzone celebration against the Niners for years up to that point.

I hate TO for that. The Cowboys owned us after that game.

As far I as can remember, other than the year we had Deion, they always "owned" us...

I hated Mooch for suspending him. He should have just gave him a stern warning. IIRC, this was the start of their beef.

We have Nick Mullens. I'd be shocked if he didn't put up a lot of points.

I think we really ought to let the cheerleaders win.
