Because of the guy that played a million times above his pay grade for 3 seasons? Really? That guy? Not the diva receiver that took all that money and then got hurt?
The guys that decided to pay those diva receivers are the ones at fault.

Yep that's the contracts that hurt this team. Should have traded BA last year to the Steelers and got that second rounder.

I would much rather have Dre than BA. Sorry to see Dre go.

And now there looking to trade him for peanuts real sound strategy.

It's was Kyle's call. He stopped the trade with Pittsburgh. He kept Deebo around long enough to watch him crumble. He insisted on keeping Juice. This blueprint that failed to bring home any rings has Kyle's fingerprints all over it. And now we're watching it fall apart as the team tries to rebuild off the draft…

No they're not.

Gonna miss this dude. One of the few guys that knows how to play violent, but also under control. If he can stay healthy, Broncos got themselves a hell of a LB

1) I dont agree he played under control. He was good for a penalty every single game (although he was good enough where I dont know that it really cost us much)
2) It remains to be seen if he can stay healthy. This type of injury could kill a career.
3) I really wanted him back on a 1 year prove it deal, but dont blame him one bit for taking more security.

I do wish him luck, and will miss him.

This is worse than a rebuild, team is tanking just to save money. We're back to the San Fran YORK days. :(

Jed came out and said he's done spending money. I can see the dark days of the cheap ass Yorks returning.

Yep. At this point, I am honestly wondering why they even spent the money to get Robert Saleh back?

Agree with all this. We all liked him but no one should have thought there was higher than a 10% chance he was staying, and that was only because Saleh came back.

Aiyuk's contract & I'm betting Deebo's restructure fall mostly on Shannahan I don't think that's even debatable.

If that were true, he'd be traded already. Team is definitely looking to cut out the 10 million + contracts because that number for Dre is very fair. It has to be injury concerns, which I get.
Niners are done. Rebuild time.

Jed didn't say that though. He said he's tired of not getting enough return on investment.

Hargrave wasn't bad, but didn't live up to his contract. Weston Richburg only had one healthy season. Alex Mack retired after one year. I think Ward and Juice are the only unrestricted free agents this regime has brought in that lived up to his contract.

49ers can't play him that deal given his issues. It's a great deal for Greenlaw but he's probably only playing 60 - 70-% of those games based on his history.

The thing is you get to keep him longer when the D isn't good due to talent deficiencies.
