Ha,

Baalke did call me. I told him I can still run the forty in 4. He said what 4 seconds. No, I said I meant 4 ever.

He was the all ACL General Manager.

I had a ACL tear. The meniscus (cartilage) was also slightly torn, too. This is common with the injury. I fully recovered after surgery. It's the arthritis in the knee later in life that's annoying.

How annoying were the phone calls from Trent Baalke?

Did your pass rushing skills diminish in any way?

Lol

I think It's natural to be a little concerned with the amount of bad luck the Niners have gone through recently. hopefully he makes a full recovery though.
No, However my drinking skills got better. 😊

Yes, Talked to plenty of Docs prior to my surgery. There was one common denominator with these guys. Artificial Turf. They all hated it.

Do you think the grass at Bill Walsh field is so good that it's *like* artificial turf? I'm wondering why we've all of a sudden got so many injuries at Levi Stadium vs what I can recall at Candlestick.

Damn! Good point. Bosa was injured on that carpet covered concrete field in NY.

How many serious injuries have the 49ers suffered at Levi's? Most of them have been on the road.

Based on my experience, fake turf sucks because it's sticky and has no give. If your cleats get stuck, all the pressure goes on your joints. On real grass, the field breaks apart alleviating the force on your joints.

Agree. I've been on those rubber coated concrete fields. Sticky and grippy as hell. I can just imagine blocking a 300 pound tackle and anchoring and whoalla, the knees go. Ouch! Dang these athletes put their bodies through hell just to play a game. Geezuz.

All sports too. Again, as a Reds fan, it was at least believed that Ken Griffey Jr.'s lower half kept breaking down on him because of all those years running around in the Kingdome on that turf.

Heaps of ankle and knee injuries in rugby union on these monstrosities of pitches.
Dang so he's turning slowly into Dee Ford.
