I think season one of Bosa proved his backers correct. Absolute franchise corner stone. You cant teach the motor, you cant teach the locker room presence, you cant teach tenacity. I think he still has significant room for improvement too, i would bet his ceiling is JJ Watt levels of dominance.

Agreed with all of this, except the significant room for improvement part.

Bosa came in more fully formed than any down lineman I can remember.

And that was always the book on him: in the long run a guy like Josh Allen might have a higher ceiling (and he still might), but save for injury Bosa has the highest floor I've ever seen.

If we can get another ten years of Bosa playing exactly as he did his rookie year that's a HELL OF A WIN. I'm not really sure what he's supposed to be developing on though.

Is he lock for DROY?

Absolutely. To the bank. Total out of left field upset if it's not him.

Higher than Watt, imo. His ceiling is Lawrence Taylor. He should go down an all time great edge player - not just pass rusher, he is the complete package.

Great to see he's still humbled despite all the success he's having! Well grounded dude.

Agree

How many defensive players, rookies or otherwise, are playing better??

Good call!

Very refreshing considering all the trash we hear all season long.

Nah there are like 3 or 4 Niner "fans" who were getting their alt accounts ready to say "I told you he is injury prone"
