Feels like we were saying the same thing a couple weeks ago when injured in OTAS, get healthy and ready for training camp

he had a tight hammy, I'll bet money if there was a game he would have played. If there's a whiff of someone being hurt, they're not letting them practice this off season...I don't doubt Bosa has a significant ankle injury, that will happen when a big man falls on your ankle.

Gotta wait and see, did anyone report Bosa in a walking boot at practice today? I won't be shocked if Bosa/Verrett are good to go week 1.

Playing through a Grade 1 Strain would not have ended well for him.

I've been told it takes a couple days to heal (grade 1) I'm not saying if he get a strain on Friday that he's gonna play on Sunday...if it happened at the beginning of the week he could have a chance to play on Sunday.

Not sure who told you that but grade one strains don't heal in less than a week.

Still hoping as someone insinuated that ShanaLynch are playing up the injury to make it very easy to keep Bosa out without constant questions from fans and media on when he'll be back.

Kind of odd how initial reports were all "minor sprain" and "no big deal" and then following day GM and HC come out with the "it's a serious strain and he's out all of preseason and we'll see what later"

Just have to hope he's 100% week 1. As much as I want to see him play all of the regular season it may make sense to hold him out until he's full on 100% so we don't see the DE version of Matt Breida last year.

Looking at our edge rush from last year, the DE version of Matt Breida wouldn't be so bad. Thats like 7 to 8 sacks in 12 games lol.

We better slap an ankle brace on that ankle too. We need every precaution being taken to keep the players safe.

Lol touche..but I'm hoping we get the full 16 games or as close to it as we can because we'll need Nick to help that D play better.

you are correct sir...my wife (who's a PT) said 1-3 weeks, like most things I wasn't paying attention when she was talking

IMO I always lean towards the lesser time for recovery with professional athletes because they tend to heal quicker....plus they have all the resources/time to recover properly.
Anyone paying attention to the Bucs? They lost basically their whole Dline for the first game, we will be okay.

The only player in question for week 1 is Bosa. Not really the same.

yeah saw that, Vita Vea looks to be out for week 1 and JPP is out for a while. Lavonte David had some knee scope or something, I'm assuming he plays but who knows with those things. Donovan Smith is dealing with some Achilles' injury as well.

Throw in their secondary is trash as well.

"battle of the broken" week 1

If only Ford is able to play week 1, that is still a massive upgrade to when we played them last year. Not to mention our all world punter forcing tampa to sustain long drives?

My prediction? We force more interceptions week 1 than we did all of last year.

That sounds impressive, but we'd only need what, 3 INTs

Yup I think Ford will play, he'll have been "recovering" for like 5+ weeks. I don't think it's anything super serious with him.

We will see if Bosa plays (fingers crossed). I'm expecting a victory week 1. The offense is gonna have to put some points up though.

You would need one of those things they use on Star Trek to heal people. You know that thing they wave over the persons body while it makes those woo, woo, woo sounds.
