The other two - having some setback or holding out (kinda hard to believe after an ACL tear) are not good for us fans.

Do not extend… he had 3 acl injuries, trade him if he not happy and get Crosby, should get Crosby even if he is happy

His salary is fully guaranteed through 2026. 9ers just converted his salary into a signing bonus. He was out most of last year, so I'm not sure why he's holding in/out. Might as well toss in that he's being traded in exchange for Crosby.

Either he's holding out or there is something seriously wrong with the knee or calf. Missing 4 practices with "soreness" is bizarre especially since he hadn't been seen on the field at all during those times. Mike Evans has also been out, but he's at least been working on a side field doing rehab work.

It makes sense considering they converted $21 mil of his base salary into a signing bonus to free up cap so in essence, his base salary is only about a million bucks in 26'. He's due $54 million next year which is an insane cap hit for an oft injured edge. I wouldn't even pay Leonard Williams anything close to what Bosa makes and He's 100% healthy. 49ers are well coached but poorly managed roster. Kyle is the best offensive mind in football and a top 3 coach maybe even the best coach. I wouldn't let him draft the players anymore however. Hire an actual GM with a scouting pedigree and relegate Kyle to strictly coaching

Hold in, after his third ACL tear? I think he'd want to show his worth on the field to get a much more lucrative contract.

Seriously? Bosa is ALL about the money! This is the guy who publicly said he didn't need to be the highest paid defensive player, then held out until he was.

This definitely feels contract related. I was a bit nervous at first but the fact that he's not even there smells contract related and looking into it I can see why.

Hope we get this resolved quickly tho. I don't worry about Bosa missing camp if he's healthy but I don't want any negativity from the contract front throwing things off for us. We need Bosa out there for the season.
