Why the heck would he go on the PUP?

Because Skittle has a narrative, and that fits his narrative

lol What narrative is that? All I said is that I was interested to see if he would still be held out of practice or not. It's not crazy to think that the new training staff might be particularly cautious with how they handle his reps and workload.

And that goes for every player coming off injury, not just Bosa. I'd rather the training staff play it safe when it comes to how they handle injuries. We all know we need to do something different if we want to reverse the injury trend from the last several years.

nah, we aren't the Chargers...they were asking Joey to disregard multiple things in his contract. LA is one of the cheapest teams in football (can't even get their own stadium lol)

Why would he be placed on PUP? Or why wouldn't he practice?

They could want to ease him in slowly to give him more time to recover from the hamstring injury he went down with in May. We don't have an official word on whether he's healthy enough to go yet.

Again I know your trying to get a rise out of people, however, if what your saying is the case, then we might as well put 12 other players that the team held out the last few practices on PUP, right? Or are you just targeting Bosa?
Cause Debo missed time, Hurd did, I can go on.

So which is it?

That doesn't mean he's gonna go on the PUP, there's a difference between that and not having him do every rep.

That's true. PUP is probably the worst case scenario. I guess I should just say that I'm interested to see how they handle his workload with him coming off an injury.

That's fair

That was mostly about how poorly the Chargers handled that whole situation in trying to screw him over.

This is the Bosa thread, so of course I'm targeting him in it. He's also our most high profile draft pick, so his injury is going to be the one that gets the most attention especially since he missed last season due to injury.

Lol. Wasnt this about the same time as our last 2 first round picks? Was this really any surprise?

If anyone really thought we wouldn't get him into start of camp, they were just eating hater chips.

I think there was justification for concern, considering how his brother held out.

There wasn't though. Joey's situation was with another team/front office and he had every right to hold out when the team is tryign to add language into the contract that no other top 5 drafting team was doing for their guys.
This all makes sense now, because of Bosa's short arms, they wanted to have Deebo sign at the same time so he could help Bosa sign his deal as well.
An the whole holdout/Niners can't sign their draft picks/ they weren't prepared for CAA narrative can be heard going down the toilet.

I actually think Quinnen Williams was such a nice guy that he waited to sign with the Jets so he could help Nick reach the contract to sign it first, soon as Nick signed Quinnen didn't need to hold out any longer and signed his deal with the Jets.
