This is his third ACL Recovery. didn't he come back and become DPOY after his first in the pros? I think he will be fine. At this point, he probably feels more comfortable with a torn ACL than healthy knee.

His first ACL he was much younger and didn't have to carry the defense with a line that had Defo, AA, DJ. He was also financially motivated something that is also different now.

He's had 21.5 sacks in three seasons since signing the extension...3 years ago.

Not really -- in 34 games right? Not superstar but not a full three years

This is a big year for mr nicholas.

For what he's paid this should be happening

what this boils down to is how good Bosa is in 2026. If he rings up a dozen sacks, and offenses have to double him and slide protection to him

Not worth the contract IMO.

When he plays he's worth every penny. Hopefully he stays healthy all year.

Well he's not worth $55 million. Luckily there's zero chance of that happening.

You'd think last year would be a glimpse for the folks having this train of thought.

He started 2.5 games last year. In the two games that he was healthy in he closed out the Seahawks win and then helped the pass rush close out the Saints game.

He is still an impact edge rusher who will hopefully once again have a terrific recovery from ACL and go on to have a huge year after with the additions around him.

This will be unpopular but Nick Bosa has had only 1 great year with us. The year he won dpoy he was a game wrecker. But he's been good to average every other year. He seems undersized at times and is more effort than strong force.
i'm not saying he's horrible. But I do feel he is greatly overpaid and over hyped. Hes like a 2nd tier DE in the nfl. With the first tiers being guys like Garrett and Watt
.

Just get him a second DE so he can face more one on ones'.
Bosa is and has been the most important player on the team. When he goes down our chances to win a Super Bowl drop close to 0. It's been this way since he has been here. Sack numbers don't always track with the chaos a great edge consistently produces.
