So the team goes out partying after losing their last game? There should no partying or smiles or laughter allowed for anyone in the organization until we win another game. That goes doubly for those who aren't healthy enough to play but apparently healthy enough to go out partying.

Yeah. And if they lose another game there should be a ritual suicide of the starting lineup, too.

Lol And then you take it to a weird level

Saying guys should be serious 24/7 and hate their life unless they win is already at a weird level.

You can tell people who haven't played for a winning team. Best teams I've played on it was dudes having fun enjoying being around their teammates.

If you are talking about his injury history and being a diminishing player, that doesn't scream top of the market player. Again, WHO is going to give him the max with his history the last 4 seasons (including 2026)?

I think Bosa will do a Mckivitz and ask for as much money as he can but still stay with the team if the team is fair about his wages. I dont see the guy asking for the stars if his real true value is the moon. Thats how I see him and the type of guy he is. I think he wants to be on that 10 year wall and hopefully retire as a niner.

Exactly especially during the bye week lol this isnt the day before the game its their off day lol

And i think today 49eRing wil learn that going out to a corpoate party is less dangerous than playing football.

Were 6-1 and have a 2 game lead in the division. No one thought we would be here considering our schedule. They had a great strech and deserve to enjoy it

I'm not saying you're wrong, cause idk the answer, but I don't have that same feeling about Bosa. I'd love it if he did but I see him trying to get every penny and this time around it's harder to pay him cause he's been so injured over the last few years.

when he's healthy, he's absolutely worth it. My guess is we resign him to be a 3 year 130M deal or something and spread it out over several years on the salary,. I love Bosa and he is incredible when healthy but has always been injured

lol I don't think a lot of fans realize that most players don't love the game/team the same way fans do. lol a lot of these guys have just played their whole life cause they're good at it but it's a job, they're not obsessed with the history or what's going on in the league. It isn't true for everyone but I'd say a lot of them.
Any word on if/when this guy will be able to play?

I've heard some players say they don't follow football much after they retire. Then we have others that stay close to the game as coaches, announcers o scouts.
Football I think for many is their job, their career. They make millions, even lower tier players that allows them a lifestyle if they manage their money correctly that allows them personal freedom to so whatever they really want to. They are set for life and football for most, is not their life. They enjoyed the game while they played I believe that and enjoyed it because they were good enough to play at the pro level but it is not their life. A life is much more than a career or a job and their 4-15 years allows them a lifestyle most of us spend a lifetime trying to create IF we're lucky and smart. I love being retired at 61, however I would have LOVED being retired at 35 and doing whatever it is I wanted to pursue for the rest of my life. I agree fans are much more into it then most players and when the player is done, they are done. Remember for many the health issues they face after an NFL career limits them too.
Hating on someone for celebrating Halloween with their girlfriend during a bye week is crazy
Does Bosa have a good shot at making the hall of fame?

I would say no because he's missed too many games and his numbers haven't been great recently. It really depends on how well he does from here on out. If he can stay on the field and approach his previous (2022, 2023) ability then he will get in. More injuries and missed games and he doesn't. The HOF isn't run by the NFL. It's a group of writers that vote and there is often regional bias involved.

All the talent and ability, he plays like it. his problem will be his health and how much time he's missed. he would have to have like 5 more dominant years to be considered, IMO. def talented enough though.

I think if he truly contributes to this team winning a SB, or especially 2 he has a legitimate shot. Will Chris Jones make the HOF?

The contract negotiations between Bosa and the 49ers have always been cordial with the understanding that this is a business. Unlike the Aiyuk situation, the 2023 standoff negotiations were very positive and beneficial to both parties. He held out - in a sense - but the 49ers didn't need him in practice much anyway. It worked out for both parties. Subsequent restructuring of his contract was done without much acrimony or fanfare, and I suspect the next restructure/renegotiations will follow the same pattern.

Both sides have a number in their minds and they will most likely have a meeting of the minds, I dont see them parting ways any time soon, especially when the 49ers still value pass rush a lot.
