As stated, he is having to adjust back to playing football and it is evident he is not ready for playing 70% or more of the snaps in this game. I bet they have him slotted for 45% to 55% of the snaps depending on how he is feeling. Garrett may be "hurt" but come game time we'll see how "hurt" he is. As I shared in another thread, IF the Niners (or any team) gets to Stafford his back is one hit away from taking him out of the game (or multiple games). Without him, their offense is a skeleton of what it is with him. If he is in there with no pressure, and its looking like that may be the case in this game, he will eat our secondary alive I fear.

In bosas 1st game back in 2021 after tearing his ACL in 2020, he played 51 snaps. That was also in a game where our starters got pulled in the 4th bc we were blowing out the lions at the time. That's not too bad. We'll see how it goes here

May it be so in this game as well!

True but that was also when he was five years younger, and didn't have his right ACL torn for the second time; nor any setbacks or complications with his recovery as he did this time.

I'm hopeful that they were managing out of an abundance of caution but it sounds like when he gave it a harder go it flared. That's what we heard with Pearsall too. I'm not saying they're the same situation but a tendinitis that flares with added activity could be something that lingers unless it was just ramping up too quickly too fast and truly just needs rest vs being onset of a chronic condition.

Time will tell. Fingers crossed!

I don't disagree with the concern but to just assume prior year acl tear = not effective/part time player/etc. isn't universally true. Let's hope for the best!

Just a part of the game, he will either be healthy or he won't be.
Matt barrows reported on the Athletic that bosa said he is faster and that he has no worry about his leg size being smaller than other one. Also in 2021 after his acl tear he had a great year reported barrows. All good news!

As long as he plays in every game, I am fine with that trade off.
Bosa looks very good 👌

Yup, He looks incredible.
was Bosa the best defensive player on the field today? He looked f**king AWESOME.

first rep of the game, and he destroys the right tackle with hump move.

He was dominant.

And repulsed by the meat pies.
