Ok I'm back to all in on Nick with love in my heart
Just help us get that six, Bosa

I see him coming in and saying where do I sign. This is a guy you have to kick out of the weight room. Some guys you gotta pull the reigns back, this is one of those guys.

But, he's also a Bosa and they stand by their valuations. I think both he and the team are now pot-committed to Sunday without him. He's going to let the evidence on the field, or lack there-of, to show why he's the most valuable defensive player in the league and they're going to try and show why he's the most valuable edge.
Open your wallet jed you cheap prick.
It's the final hour. Sign him!!!

Yeah at this point I don't think he's even signed by Sunday. I really hope it doesn't cost the game, but hopefully they figure out a way to end this game of stump the dummy before week 2.

Well you can set your Clock by the 49ers win loss record the first 5 games of a season,

With a little bad luck we could be looking at 1-4 or 2-3 and that would have nothing to do with Bosa....

The 49ers under Shanny 2.0 tend to start slow and peak at the end of the season.

There is so much offensive talent now, if Brock proves to be legit...they could start 5-0 due to an assortment of herculean efforts...and it would STILL having nothing to do with the fact the 49ers need Bosa.

So yeah talking heads will blabber....and like always it will mean next to nothing....

It's pretty clear that people who say the team has leverage should probably follow the gif you posted.

All Bosa has to do is play six games under current contract.
The FO is on record on saying this is a win-now, SB caliber team.
No one asked FO to shout "NO" at any question directed to them about trading Bosa. Both in March/April and now. But they have.

The 49ers made it clear they aren't trading Bosa AND that they need Bosa to win the SB.
All Bosa has to do - let me repeat it again- is to show up for 6 games at any point in regular season. He doesn't have to play a snap in the playoffs, and so forth.

So tell me, who REALLY has the leverage in this situation ?
Nick Bosa who only has to play six games to accrue a year of service and then become a free agent, and watch money thrown at him...

or

a team who says they're contenders now, say they wont trade Bosa, and who are stuck with an elite asset who only plays in 6 out of 17 games, no playoffs, and at a risk of receiving ZERO compensation for Bosa walking ?

You tell me (preferably without introduction of needless assumptions)

You think he's going to play 6 games at the end of the year then sit and watch his team go on a SB run without him?

Every NFL players dream is to play in a SB. You think he's going to sit out the playoffs over money?

There's no chance. If he does it will kill him. The locker room and the perception to everyone will be he doesn't love the game.

The niners can also franchise tag him repeatedly and keep forcing him to play 6 games while only paying him for the 6 games and likely the playoffs. It's like a great player rental just for the games that matter.

The team has all the leverage after a few games.

They can mess with him and his career significantly if they want to.

🥀
there should be a new expectation on his signing, After week 2

Bosa on Sunday

I hope not. If the 49ers are going to concede, they need to do it now and stop jeopardizing games. What's the point of doing it after week 2? The writing is on the f**king wall now and has been for weeks: Nick's team ain't giving an inch. Concede now or don't at all, Paraag.

Personally, I don't expect to see Nick Bosa play this season if it doesn't get situated before Sunday.
