Guap, for the record you were not one of the people I was referring to. You stated your opinion, respectfully, and kept it pushing. That is appreciated. Others tried to make it sound like we were out of our minds for thinking the way we were.

I do acknowledge that RZ was our achilles heel last year, but I personally didnt think that Jordan Matthews was going to help change that. I think having Jimmy G back will help that as much as adding a good WZ threat...so I even if I didnt think Matthews was massively overrated in the RZ, I fully expect our RZ offense to be much better with out starting QB.

Give this man some attention!

Ha. Not asking for attention pal. Just had many posters acting as if we were the ones who were out of our minds for weeks when we were the ones who were correct.

Agreed. Jordan Matthews wasn't one of my 6. If he wasn't in the top 3, he wasn't going to stick.

Thanks Wallace I tried to be respectful but you were right and so was Phoenix and NY so good call guys. I was wrong so I had to acknowledge it. I just really am traumatized over the last what almost 10 years without having a red zone threat since Vernon Davis And I really thought this guy could get at least six touchdowns in limited fashion because that's all he does in my opinion.

Oh well our top six wide receivers will all make the team better and Hurd as well as Kittle are definitely going to be red zone b*****ds with Deebo Samuel shaking everyone free. Let's not forget Pettis gets such good separation that he might be a pretty good red zone threat like we saw in Denver last year.

All in all, Jimmy g will make the whole team look a lot better than they are. Look what he did for our defense and our offensive line rankings they skyrocketed as soon as he came in.

Imagine what Kyle was thinking watching a 6'3 215 lbs wide receiver get bullied by 5'9 180 lbs DJ Reed.

I knew it was a wrap for Matthews after that.

Me too...until Bourne started wearing warm butter gloves. Then I thought...weeeelllll?
I'm surprised we let him go, but I didn't want us to give up on Borne too soon or Richie James. Last year, he would have made the team. I'm glad we are getting good enough to let go of quality receivers. If someone goes down, I hope he's still available.
I guess that money Matthews paid for his number didn't guarantee him a spot on the 53. LOL, where is that guy now?

Trent Taylor was probably nowhere to be found. Hes not giving that money back.

lol he should totally ask for 81 back.

Agree. that was a stupid move. But he's made his money. I think he's a 4+ year vet. He'll live. He won't be homeless.

Agree. These guys all have the potential to be good players, and if not, there's always the 2020 draft.
