FA: ~ Sign Kwon Alexander. He gives us a fast, productive LB who can fly around and make tackles and cover speedy guys too. ~ Sign Earl Thomas. He gives us the interceptions and turnovers we need. ~ Sign Justin Houston. He give us the outside pass rush we have needed for so long. Draft: #2 overall - Quinnen Williams. He becomes our Aaron Donald. He will crush the pocket from the inside and provide interior pass rush and push. 2nd round pick - Hakeem Butler. 6'5" 227 lbs. 4.48 speed in the 40 yard dash. 60 receptions, 1318 yards, 9 TD's in 2018. He becomes the big, fast, tall rangy, productive WR this team has needed for years and years. QB Situation: Jimmy Garoppolo - He gets healthy coming off a knee injury providing us with a Franchise QB. Nick Mullens - Gives us at least a high end backup QB providing some wins if Jimmy G goes down for a few games. We have some of the most cap room of any team. Time to spend some of it and get better. Can this team make the Super Bowl and over take the Rams in the NFC?

But .500 for this team is really hard for this team to reach. You cant set goals unless theyre realistic.

I think fans get too concerned over past injuries. Just because you get hurt once or even twice doesn't mean you are going to keep having problems. I broke my nose over 50 years ago and I'm still breathing. Never broke it again.

He missed his most recent one. The past one. That's bad. What makes you think he can't be injured again? He can.

I'm tired of rebuilding for the future. We have been doing that for 20 years. Minus a few Harbaugh years. It's time to be more aggressive. We need a new approach.

This team wins a lot around draft time. For years and years now. It seems like the only time we win. The Patriots lose at draft time but keep winning. I would rather be like them.

The ShanaLynch era started with two big pieces missing -- a franchise QB and a franchise DE/edge rusher. It takes a while to get both. Hall of fame coaches like Tom Landry took half a decade until he found his franchise QB in Staubach. Some coaches never manage to get that franchise edge rusher (George Seifert) he inherited Haley and promptly got rid of him. The idiot.

Point is that without these two pieces you cant win consistently. With these two pieces you have a chance at a dynasty. With the Patriots, you have the franchise QB and instead of an edge rusher you have Bill Bellicheat.

You dont find these two pieces accidentally like falling off a log. It takes time. We're lucky we have had coaches in the past that were able to do so in Walsh. ShanaLymch got one piece but he was lost for a year. We still dont have that edge rusher. Maybe DeeFord, but until you have that Edge Rusher, your looking at most an .500 season.
