I expect a ton of bend don't break defense, hoping to keep them to Field Goals. Colbert will have to have his best game as a 49er to prevent the big plays. Will see how it goes.

I expect a loss for sure but hope we can keep it close. 31-24 Chiefs methinks.

A lot is Rieds offense it made Kevin Kolb look good.

Agreed that we need to try to win the time of possession. That may not be enough, but if you're the coach, that's probably what you need to try.

probably won't be an issue since they'll only need a couple snaps to score on each drive.

I agree that Reid and his offense are awesome and have been for a long time but Mahommes is probably the most talented QB he has had as a head coach

Niners 3rd in rushing vs Chiefs *32nd ranked defense....ball control, TOP and timely passes off PA will be key

Warner has been great through 2 games. This will be his coming out party for the world as I think he'll be matched up on Kelce the entire game. Anyone remember the performance Julian Peterson had against Tony Gonzalez back in '02? Peterson was on Tony for much of the game and held him to 1 catch if I am remembering correctly. Watch Warner stick to Kelce like glue.

If we can somehow stop them the first few drives and run the ball up their buttholes we will have a shot. I don't see that happening though.

Absolutely! Chiefs fans didn't know Peterson until that game. Cried a lot too.

Maybe I am just being the ultimate homer but I see some scenarios where we could steal a win especially if Goodwin makes it back. There is now two games of tape on Mahomes. Coaches will find something to exploit as he is super inexperienced. We have the talent at linebacker to neutralize Kelce. That is huge. And we have a qb that can rip up weak defenses when he is on his game. This game is closer than it looks. There is just this huge wave of enthusiasm for the chefs right now but they will come back to earth. Hopefully it happens against us. Niners need a strong start and a couple of early 12 play drives and when Mahomes makes that mistake we have to capitalize. If the spread goes to 7 then lay some money down on our boys. Go Niners!
