Their defense gives up a lot of points. They really haven't had a defense challenge them yet...Reid knows how to beat the Chargers, he and the Chiefs own them. The Steelers were banged up a little on defense and besides the injuries, their D isn't great to begin with.

We need to score often just so we don't get blown out. If our defense plays as well as they did in 2nd half vs Vikings (or better), then we do have a legit chance to pull off the upset, but we gotta play a near flawless game tho

Fanaticonfl mentioned that the Chargers game in week 4 is a winnable game. While the Chargers are likely to be 1-2 next week after a loss to the Rams, they still have a better roster than SF even without Joey Bosa.

The way I see it, the 49ers roster has too many holes to exploit the "good" teams weaknesses.

The kids in the secondary may learn they can't live off of last year's vapor trails. May be this week. May be next. May take an embarrassing loss rather than an embarrassing victory.

To be fair so was Detroits and they didn't have their best pass rusher and we only put up 30 at home.

Despite the 6 sacks, that was almost all coverage sacks. They have an underrated secondary. But I don't doubt the niners are underestimating any defense at all. Plus they could have Berry back this week. Its a really tough game but I don't think its tougher than Minnesota.

Anybody who says our offense is anemic needs to turn on this Seahawks game. Their whole offense is "Russel save us"

yea thats what happens when you have a good defensive coordinator and get an elite edge rusher.

I think it would be smarter to turn the track meet into a marathon. Have methodical drives. But we'll see what happens on sunday.
