I'm not worried about Sherman, he's been facing faster WRs his whole career. I expect Sherman mauling any WR and somehow getting away with it.

Double up on Hill.
Foster/Warner on Kelce/Hunt.
They'll murder us if we sit back in zone all game. They have the benefit of exceptional mismatches.
With Foster back we matchup with the Chiefs better than most teams, but they're likely the best offense in the league. There is zero room for error. This has the chance to be a bloodbath even if we play well. Need to 2-3 turnovers and another 200 yards on the ground to have a chance in this one.
Watch them put Ward on Hill lol

At least our defense has experience with Goodwin's speed like they would with T. Hill

Run the ball with 22 and 46. The best way to stop a high octane offense is to keep them off the field. The 49ers need to put together 10-15 play drives that end in 7.

just dial up some deep bombs for Tyreek Hill and match him up against Witherspoon and Colbert on the first down of every play. What are we going to do?

i do feel better about our run game from sunday. we must run. jimmy can not hold the dang ball for 6 plus seconds. our line is the only line who can not sack a qb if he holds the ball that long

With our predictable defensive lineup, KC will try to cause a speed mismatch with Hill and Sherman. Watkins will go on Witherspoon. Then there's Hunt and Kelce. Best way I see us beating them is if the pass rush can get there.

You focus too much on the boxscore. Lee made some tackles but he had a mostly terrible game. Missed several tackles that resulted in big plays for Detroit. The gap between Foster and Lee is enormous.
Foster is absolutely a game changing type player...I am baffled by anybody who cant see that. Health and suspension issues aside he may be the best young LB in the game when he is on the field.

We have really good young coverage RB's we need to do to them what Jags did with Gronk yesterday and give Kelce no air. If we can take away Kelce and stop the run I have faith Andy will screw it up for them. But it is still a real long shot to do all that...their D is putrid but that offense is red hot. It will likely be very high scoring and we don't have the weapons to keep up once the D gives up a handful of big plays.
