This guy's a monster. If he plays this week, our base LB crew will be: Warner, Kendricks, and Wallow. With Greene returning and Sigle replacing Brown, the backend of the defense will be completely different than what Seattle saw in week 18.

We're the ones hoping he starts. Shanny already said it's unlikely he plays this week. Which may be the real smoke screen.

If Fred can play this week and the 49ers don't allow it and we lose at Seattle, that's almost just as bad as Kyle's decision not to defer in overtime at the Super Bowl. The guilt and remorse will be bad.

I think Fred playing SAM this week would be a good way to ramp up his reps. That way you also don't break the flow and rhythm of Kendricks and Wallow.
