lol. smith,, what a lynch mistake . fred took over from day one

I get the Malcom Smith signing from 2017, same for Pierre Garcon, it was meant to install the schemes we now have, but yeah Smith wasn't that good with us, it was obvious he wasn't gonna be here long term, that's why they had an easy out after 2 years in his contract, he took a pay cut was still cut. Garcon would have made it longer had he not gotten hurt in year 1 with his neck injury, he was very good for us up until then. And I was a huge Garcon fan.
Smith had season ending injuries also

Yeah, he had the same injury Kwon had last year, but had in the 2017 offseason, but didn't come back from it the same season like Kwon did, which is something I think was a risk, but, he took the chance, cause he wanted to badly play for them again that season, and I think people give Kwon too much crap since he's probably not 100% fully healed.
I like Kwon and feel he's a compliment to the LB core but not a need. He might need to take another pay cut to stay next year

I think they are just going to either cut him or let him walk. Warner being a beast and handling the play calling along with the emergence of Greenlaw just makes him expandable after this season. They should save the money and see if they can land another gem in the draft at LB, 2 for 2 so far drafting them.

Greenlaw is making it harder to keep Kwon, but with Law & kwon out.. depth quality drops big time. hopefully they can work something out in the offseason

Lynch has been criticized for trading for Ford but at least he's been productive when he's healthy. I know that hasn't been often enough but Kwon isn't making the plays we all expected when we got him even when he's healthy. Or is he healthy?

Agreed. I'm not mad at him for trading for a productive player when healthy. It's irritating that he will likely have played 1 season's worth of games in 2 years by season's end, but we know Dee Ford is really good.

On another note, I just love how Fred Warner, who some think is a top-5 linebacker was found in the 3rd round, yet we still have people who are talking about why we should've taken Jamal Adams with the number 3 overall in 2017. Yeah we should've taken Adams over Thomas, but how is that team that originally drafted Adams doing?

The emergence of Warner has been yet another bright spot for this team.

Wasn't Kwon playing well last season before he got Injured? I remember everyone being excited by the news of his retirement In time for the play-offs.

What does drafting FW in the 3rd round have to do with ppl rightfully thinking that we should've drafted Adams over ST?

That was one game. Then he tore that pectoral muscle.

Nothing really....they used that trade capital moving down to get Warner. Still could have drafted Adams though

Jimmy has played in more games than Ford but he's also missed more with the Niners. Something to think about.

Greg Cosell can suck it... JK, I did my own though, lol.

HA nice!
In some ways he makes me think of Lee Woodall. He's bigger and better but I didn't know much about him when we drafted him just like Woodall. Aside from looking like Evander Holyfield, Woodall gave us 5 really good years after being a 6th round draft pick. He was very active just like Warner.

Maybe it's the football number.
