The reality is that the traits Kyle wants in his WRs are rarely found in big receivers.
That might explain why they struggle to score TD's in the red zone. Other than Kittle they don't have a big receiver to throw to in the tight spaces of the end zone. Hard to throw the ball up high or do the deep corner fade with all those little guys. Maybe Kyle prefers field goals.
The Niners are next to last in TDs in the red zone. Shanahan's scheme moves the ball between the 20s as well as that of any coach. But will he show he is learning by modifying his scheme to increase the team's chances for TDs in redzone? It could be a canary in a coal mine test for how next season might go for the Niners.
