UDFA's next...

Great work NC, very detailed! Better than Wiki!

If Solomon upgrades his skills, I can see Solly getting 6+ sacks. If Pita develops, I can see him getting a couple of sacks, Marsh and Attaochu, I'm hoping to also bolster the pass rush. I am very disappointed we didn't get some of the higher ranked edge rushers available in the draft. That's on ShanaLYnch's judgement that we're ok on the edge rusher department. If they are wrong, there will be hell to pay.

6? OK, 32 sacks. Hehe

And yes, yes it is on them. Funny how Kyle said you don't just want to double up to double up...then goes and does just that at DL, S, SCB, SWR and returners. Uhhh, yeah, you do UNTIL you find your guy.

Haha, I'd hope so...updating daily up in here! #NeverADayOff
Before the draft I had as my team needs, edge rusher, line backer, offensive line, and running back. These would have been my first four picks.

Later would be defensive backs and big bodied receivers

This draft has left me puzzled. I am intrigued, that my perceived team needs were so far out of alignment with the front offices.

I'm sure we are not done adding players, I look forward to a few low impact trades, a few intereasting UDFA's and perhaps a few cap casualties being added to our roster.

Still all on board the Jon Lynch hype train...just not sure were it's going!

Go Niners.

Very nice. An honest self-assessment and willingness to set aside your own preconceptions to wait and see where ShanaLynch's expertise and experience is going to take this rebuild.

We can all learn from your example of humility, patience, and faithfulness. Bravo, sir.

Go Niners!

Who said they needed a "big bodied WR"? This is a need presumed only by fans. Kyle clearly doesn't think he needs a "big body WR" simply to have one.

The reality is that the traits he's looking for are rarely found in bigger WRs, so don't expect to see one anytime soon.

Love when fans praise Kyle's hiring for his offensive style, then come draft time think they know better than him lol.

Yeah, certainly not an absolute need for offenses these days...but it sure af helps and it esp. helps compliment the other unique skill sets of the YWR amd XWR. And nobody understands that more than Kyle. That said, I was high on St. Brown or if not a ZWR to start learning from Garcon now, a dynamic TE to work the slot like Mike Gesicki. Two players who could help with our RZ woes. But it's not an absolute must. But Kyle did just bring in TE Ross Dwelley who's 6'5" 240 and may be able to help in the RZ as he had 10 TD's last year alone.

The #49ers draft class should cost $8,690,133 in 2018, with McGlinchey, Pettis, Warner, Moore and Street counting in the offseason against the top 51, which would give the 49ers $40,928,183 in available cap room before Tartt's extension.
12:40 AM - 29 Apr 2018

Jason Hurley‏ @Jay_AB81
As for 2019, the #49ers are $42,062,964(56 players signed) under a projected $190M cap, before Tartt's extension, 2020 is $74,379,043(31 players signed), 2021 is $114,699,094(15 players signed), 2020-2021 cap projection is $200M each for now.

Jason Hurley‏ @Jay_AB81
If all players currently signed + draft picks(not including UDFAs) the #49ers would be $25,178,183 under the cap for 2018.
