Any updates on improving shade areas at Levi's Stadium?

I have not been to a game at Levi's since I now live in Oregon but I did do the tour. Since I lived most of my life in the Sunnyvale area I know it is warmer than SF. The heat should only be a problem for early season games so depending on the schedule maybe 2 to 4 games. The Stick was no picnic for people sitting in the upper deck in what would be right field. The sun was directly in your eyes and you ended up with a headache from squinting. The rest of the Stick was a mess. Poor concessions, too few and small rest rooms. and crowded mezzanines. The other thing that I can't understand is all the complaining about driving all the way from SF to Santa Clara. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it just as far to go in the other direction. We never complained about the drive in all the years we held season tickets; even when we went to Kezar where there was NO PARKING. Getting out of Candlestick was horrible if you had to go south and you often ended up sitting in your car for an hour before you could get to the freeway. Most of the season ticket holders live south of SF. In spite of it all WE HAD FUN!!! If you want everything perfect stay home and watch the games on a big screen. Otherwise go to the games and expect some discomfort. I understand the atmosphere has been poor at Levi's but that will change when the team improves ( hopefully this year). I can tell you the Stick wasn't the most exciting place in the mid 70's with 35000 people in the stands. We didn't have those cushy lounges that they have at Levi's so we were stuck in our seats to watch a terrible team. Bottom line is Quit Complaining! if you don't want to go then stay home. If you go yell your lungs out and support the team. The stadium is where it is. If they fix the sun problem great but remember you could be in Green Bay or Chicago where it is below freezing for many games. Iwonder if their fans b***h about frostbite?

It is a fact if he felt the sun beating down on him at Levi's was more unbearable than the heat in Texas lol. I know you get really defensive if someone says something remotely negative about Levi's , but come on man .
Worst NFL stadium built this Millenium.

Perhaps not the heat, but it wouldn't have been been hard to predict the sun being in fans' eyes trying to watch the game. It's ridiculous. It really can't be that difficult/expensive to fix.
And it's not full proof, unless you cover the entire stadium
Like I said earlier, it's hot if youre in the sun at any stadium
Which other new, $1 billion+ stadiums are you referring to?

Put your sunscreen on and drink some water. Wear a hat. Is it really that bad? The Bay Area doesn't even get that hot does it? It's not hot like here in Southern CA. I realize the new location is hotter than the Bay old location. But how bad can it be? Maybe I am wrong. IDK about this one. I have never been to the new stadium. But I would like to go at some point eventually.
There's something wrong with the design of that stadium. There are reports that it was a retread design that was intended for candlestick with the breeze. Levis in Santa Clara just absorbs the heat and keeps it trapped, it's also facing the wrong way so you get hit by the sun in early games. Not a fan, always buy my tickets under the shade.
Ive lived in the bay area my whole life and I attended games at Candlestick.I heard about the heat at Levis(I live 10 miuntes away from it) and was thinking people were being pansies...I was wrong..I dont know what it is but the sun just beams at you.Your basically the ant in the magnyfing glass.
The suns side of the stick got hot and if you didn't put sunscreen on you will get burnt.
Levi's is not facing the wrong way. the EZ are North and south, just like the stick
Sit in the sun in any stadium in Aug/Sept and it's going to get hot
Have you ever been to the stadium? It makes no difference that the endzones are facing north and south. The stadium should be built with the York tower on the east side...

It's not that it really matters at this point anyway. It's hot but, I'm with you, I don't think it's that bad. However they definitely blew it with the stadium design.

So you admit Levi's should have had a dome or a retractable roof. We agree.

Yep. I think most objective NFL fans would agree that it's the worst one built in this generation...

Guess I just didn't read it in that manner you meant it.
Like I said in my edit above though,

A dome in the bay area would have cost $3 billion. Was never gonna happen.
Also, I don't see why the tower being on the East side instead would matter much. The sun would be over it and shining on the stands on the West side by afternoon game time anyway, which would not change the result either way.
