As just a short yardage bsck sure. But i am talking someone who can come in and run the stretch with obscene power.
I am talking a 5ft 10in derrick henry(body type, elite skill set not required) to run behind kittle and juice.

Yeah short yardage/goal line other than that I feel totally comfortable handing it off to either Mostret or this guy at any time.

I have total confidence in them, i am talking the 3rd or 4th back.
You have mostert and wilson who will run over small LBrs and DBs and outrun everyone else.
I like the idea of a different change of pace back. someone who will force the defense to adjust what they do. An after prime jerome bettis, legarrete blount, brandon jacobs, lendale white type back.
The niners offense will have so much speed, and a RB who will force their undersized speed off the field in the middle of a drive.

Just hope we don't sign a big name. This offense requires a hungry player at RB.

The only "big" name I'd want to sign is Gore to be a rotational number 3, and with how often Wilson and Mostert get hurt, Gore would be bound to get playing time.

i think that is just sentimentality. i think long term. we are best served by wilson mostert ,. hasty and two un drafted guys. gore is 38 and yes. he is super man. but i am not willing to take the chance. he has nothing left and he ends up setting on a bench alone in a niner uniform

He looks like he's improving. His decision to pick the right hole and hit it, is much quicker and decisive.
It's like the Oline is putting Kim K in front of him
