This is our last game of the season, so if the Rams choose to use this as a bye week, so be it, they play again in a couple of weeks, but we don't.

I think McVay wants his roster as healthy as possible going into the playoffs and hopes to take his team as far as they can go.

OF COURSE he wants his roster healthy. But I'd bet a hefty sum that he's damned glad that the Rams CAN rest their starters and that this game isn't a must win to make the playoffs.
