I get that feel are frustrated but I much rather the teardown and build it all up again approach then being like the Giants and trying to buy your way into the playoffs, winding up with a completely unbalanced roster. It will take longer to be "respectable" but if they make smart decisions then I think you will see this team setup for a long successful run.

I fully expect the offense to be addressed in a major way in the offseason, including a new QB, whether through FA or the draft as well as upgrades at WR and OL. By this time next year I think we'll be seeing a much better overall product in terms of W-L.

Giants are 2011 Eagles Dream Team disaster levels right now.

This scenario would need Beathard to be the guy or acquiring Cousins. A Cousins with a '12 RGIII type haul would be pretty sexy IMO.

Guessing that the Niners know Cousins is still theirs for the asking. Oh, that and $25 million/year (which is burning a hole in their pocket).

They will always be the 2016 Offseason Champions though.

If we had more talent, yes, we could. But we don't yet are still in every game to the wire. I'd say then, so what excuses do those other 4 teams have?

Colts lousy, Arz lousy. We're not that only bad football team. Hanging with the Rams o was impressive.

Kinda would be fitting for kyle...undoing the RGIII for his own team and getting the guy he always liked.

Cards are lousy and have the oldest roster in football. They have yet to start their rebuild process which will be needed very shortly.

Does that banner hang next to their Super Bowl banners

I'm sure his Dad would like it too.....that basically nuked his last years in the NFL.

Speaking of dem Giants, if they do manage to win about 4 games this year, they'd be a prime trading partner for the Niners' first pick. They have a lot of the pieces in place, but desperately need a quarterback to go anywhere, and they may feel they can and would be willing to part with many, many high draft picks to land him.

Almost Shakespearean in its symmetry and sense of poetic justice...

This.

A project is supposed to be drafted at the bottom of the first round/top of the second. Not 3rd overall.
Honestly I don't know why I'm even trying to argue lol this team is not winning more than 2 games at best
This team kneels. This team plays bad football. 20 players would rather use their position in the NFL to think of anything but winning the football game.

I'm really tired of this crap. The front office needs to send these guys packing and find replacements who will actually concentrate on playing football rather than some stupid stunt.

The first one that needs to go is Eric Reid. What a waste of a player.

Maybe you don't have the mental capacity to kneel for a minute and then concentrate on football but I have no doubt the kneeling doesn't affect these guys at all.

You may want to find another team if it bothers you that much because even the owner supports it.
