I believe 1979 was our worst start.

Walsh was able to score TD's with that team at least...this is worse.

We scored two today?

We've been rebuilding for 3 years. At point we need to see a building in front of us.

The rebuild process restarts every time we hire someone new.

And we've only scored TD's in 4 out of 20 Quarters.

That doesn't make me feel better. We're 1-19 of our last 20 games. We're neck and neck with the Browns

Just telling it like it is.

Maybe we shouldn't keep firing and replacing after one season...

Yeah, why can't people understand that? It's a process that happens over several seasons, if your lucky.

Exactly. A franchise should not be in rebuilding mode 10 out of the last 14 seasons.

Which seems to be an annual tradition

I feel like you're the only one who gets it lol. Exactly what I just said.

Some people just like to complain, because Baalke or York or whatever. The truth is that Thomas should be given a full rookie season to show what he can do before people start passing judgment on him. I don't believe that is unreasonable at all

The bolded is what's called real life folks....this is the sort of take a nuanced fan that's actually watched football with mature expectations. The bolded goes for this entire team including the coaches.

Exactly. I'm more keen to see how Kyle handles the adversity. If the players and coaches grow together- it's look out league. (Long term). It is absolutely frustrating knowing we could easily be 4-1 and the surprise of the league along with the Rams, but maybe it's for the best.

I want a real fqb. Lol

If 1-15 this year snags us a fqb and sets us up for many playoff seasons afterwards I'm ok with it.

This is a ground up rebuild....it's never been about 2017. I will say this though, if this team continues to play with this much fight we will find a way to win 3 or so games. I'm impressed with the spirit this team has fought with. People want to put penalites on coaches(that's b******t IMO, penalites are always on the player....coaches don't make guys false start and hold...I've always thought that was a b******t narrative), well the coaches need to be given credit for having a team constantly fight.

That's an odd measuring scale...

I see seven touchdowns in the last five games. So about one and a half touchdowns per game... which still isn't very good.

I'm just saying maybe we shouldn't fire Shanahan and Lynch after one season.
