0-4 right now..biggest issues on the offensive side...haven't scored any TD's in 3 out of 4 games this season.
that is just unreal. especially with the second coming of walsh as the coach... how the hell can anyone put a positive spin on that

you should really brush up on your Bill Walsh history as a starting HC before you make comments like that
right,. i forgot,.. he is the second coming of bill walsh., history will repeat it self,. sorry

Bill walsh was 2-14 his first season in San Francisco.

learn football.
when was that,. that was then, this is now.. maybe you need to not live in the past so much and hope that history will repeat itself. what you are doing there is hoping and dreaming and hoping that dreams come true

we scored points under chip kelly, tomsula, but still had losses where we were blown the f**k out. garbage time points. schemes that were not sustainable long-term.
you dont get the point. the point is the offense is in place and the coaching staff is in place. look up the word patience while you're at it too.

if you still can't see how much better the team is compared to last season then you're just completely blind.

Walsh's first four games weren't great but at least his team was scoring TD's.

and we're losing by only 2-4 points now. it's going to take time to put it together. but at least we have a foundation for offense again.

i see 13 penalities. i see sloppy play. i see a trainwreck on offense and i see a defense who can not finish off games. we have the o line in the nfl,. a back who is always hurt. terrible wide outs and tight ends who are underwhelming and a pricey full back who is doing nothing thanks to the coaches.. i am sorry but what foundation on offense do we have

Not only that but we have some bright spots on defense as well. The blueprint is there, it's just going to take time to build the fortress.

Yup. McVay has turned the Rams from 32nd in scoring to 1st overnight. It's not 1980 anymore.

Yup. McVay has turned the Rams from 32nd in scoring to 1st overnight. It's not 1980 anymore there's this thing called free agency which didn't exist back then.

how did we use that exactly when we had lots of money.. got a below average linebacker who is hurt. got a fullback and the coach has no clue how to use him. got hoyer. did get unlucky with the center free agent i will grant you. signed a wide out who did nothing yesterday, got asa for the secondary. only thing i see is that we signed old elvis
Is it frustrating?.. hell yeah! I just don't know what everyone was expecting?.. this team was horrible last season, they turned over half of the roster already. This season is all about seeing what you have in your young players and who can produce in your system. The majority of these guys on offense are just placeholders.. we go into next season with 5 high picks in the first 3 rounds, and a ton of cap space.
Na. Give the man what he had on his other teams and lets see then.

you misunderstand my definition of "foundation". we have Kyle shanahan's system. a real west coast offense. that's the foundation. but you don't know anything about x's and o's because you don't pay attention to the Film threads that thl and jonnydel breakdown.

now stop complaining.

i am shocked that some fans will accept 0-16 or 1-15 as long as we are competitive in a few games. sorry but i choose not to set in the clubhouse with whoever those two are you mentioned and you breaking down film. i know and see uninspired football and mistake filled football when i see it. i also see mistakes that keep happening and poor play in many different areas and not just from kids on a young team either

then you're never going to understand football, west coast offense, and what really went wrong on gamedays. it's all broken down for you in the threads. too bad. tough shame. and never will understand why Shanahan has been a huge upgrade for our offense, and why it will require patience.

hey bro, I hear you but not sure what your options are. Are you frustrated? Sure. Are you going to quit being a fan over it? I doubt. The team has a bad roster and you have to face the fact it will take time to rebuild. So I suggest you chill a little on expectations and start concentrating on players and improving vice wins.

Not saying you don't have a reason to be frustrated, but I just don't see it as healthy. And you have to be realistic.
I find it funny that guys are talking about. Well, we are only looking at improvement, and see who improves. It's an evaluation year. I'm sorry, but if you go 1-15 and lose in competitive games in an evaluation year, that is still a major issue. That seems to heavily imply that most of the guys on the roster HAVE NOT improved, and we are 3-5 years away from a complete overhaul instead of I don't know....1-2 years away. How can anyone be happy with that?

No I refuse to be happy if we go winless or have less than 2 or 3 wins. It's not about winning meaningless games. It's about establishing a culture of winning. Players need to understand what it takes to win.

Before the season even started, John Lynch came on and started talking about "Well I don't see a 2-14 roster in my personal opinion. There's a lot of talent on that D-Line". So I guess he was wrong then. Now the narrative is that we have no talent. Buckner has been the only nice piece from the Baalke era. Bowman is not himself anymore. Etc, etc. We had expectations that Robinson was going to take the next step this year, and so far, he is looking like a backup CB at best. So add CB to the long list of needs. Maybe we'll have to add some more 1st round investment to the D-Line so they can actually get to the Quarterback when they're up against average OLs.

I mean of course Kyle's scheme works. Any scheme will work if you have the right pieces. It's not about that at all. It's about teaching guys the proper technique, knowing how to study film, and preparing guys for Sunday. If you lose 14 games, then hell yeah people are going to raise their eyebrows a bit.

Agreed. I dont know how fans accept losing and losing so much so easily. This team is not good or entertaining, yes the defense has gotta better but still collapses at crucial times in games. The offense has been very bad imo, no TDs in 3 games is awful.

I gave up on CC. He was up Tomsula's ass when he was hired and I was like wtf - now he did a 180.

Anyone who thought we would be anywhere near .500 this year was smoking crack. We will win a couple of games. We could easily be 3-1. New young coaching staff and team. I am nowhere near being critical of coaches yet. Kyle will make mistakes, but he should learn.

If not in the long run (I'm giving them this season for sure) then criticism is warranted.
