this is the time I'd like to see the "next man up" and "everyone's dealing with the same amount of injuries" crowd speak up and say something. so I can continue to LMAO at their denial of this years long problem.

Exactly. NO TEAM in the NFL has all pro players injured like the niners. Not even close.
For this team, the Breaking News should be for players that don't get injured.
Bring back Bermuda grass

Bosa is one of the best conditioned athletes in the league. If this won't convince you that injuries like ACL tears are out of control of the trainers nothing will.

90% of injuries are because football is a rough game and s**t happens.
Averaging losing one captain to injury a week. Even more if you count Juice leaving in week 2 due to a concussion.

shhhh quiet the rest of the league is dealing with the same thing. shhhh this is league wide. shhhh next man up next man up(even though the next 3 men up are already on IR) shhhh its all freak Injuries it didn't start when we got an NHL health an conditioning guy.

shhh don't face reality just keep denying and coping with lying to yourself.
Ya....pretty sure shanny is in top 5 almost every year over 10 years......coincidence?
With reference to Bosa in particular,I've watched his career carefully and always thought he trained to be a body builder as opposed to a football player. He walks and moves so awkwardly due to his massive quads. He should know better than to attempt a wide spread of his legs on that corner rush attempt, knowing the torque behind the push is so powerful. Doesn't take much to tear your ACL.

He was already on a sharp decline in my estimation, add in another missed season and surgery, he will come back as a journey man edge rusher. Extremely disappointing.
Teams all around the league are facing some big losses because of injury. The 49ers are no worse than anyone else. It seems like it to the fans since we follow the team closely but fans of other teams are freaking out too. Injuries are random and the Niners have been having a run of bad luck but that can change. Remember 2023 when they were one of the healthiest teams in the league. It really sucks that a teams success can be influenced so much by a few injuries. Especially when they hit a key player. The Bengals already lost their starting QB for the season. Yesterday the Cowboys lost their top receiver for 4-6 weeks. The Cardinals lost their best RB for the year. Najee Harris is out for ther year. The Chargers lost their best offensive tackle right after he signed a big extension. That's just the ones I know about.

Hope the surgery goes well and see ya next year. It would be great if this team could get through a game without a top end player getting injured. I've been watching football since the mid 70's and I can't remember a team with this many injuries in such a short time. It's a rough sport but this team is cursed

Yes. Coincidence.

If they were all getting staff infections or herpes you'd have a better argument.

They've changed trainers multiple times. They've changed the practice field to grass. They've done everything by the book to reduce injuries and it means jack s**t when it comes to tearing ligaments.
