He's 6'2 220...same size as Aaron Rodgers. and Montana...no QB is "built" to take hits, they all take their toll...but, I think the shoulder injury was a fluke...good thing is...he sat and rehab for longer than a starter would and didn't take hits...so, I'm sure it healed instead of healing through abuse...dude will be fine.

bourne does not mean we no longer have a need for a better wide out. and despite what some think,. the arrival of cooper and gary does not mean trent brown should go and we are fine on the o line. some feel that some posters are exaggerating the niners question marks.. i believe there are a few posters who vastly over rated the current status of our team

If it's PBM to be concerned about the health of our franchise QB behind our swiss cheese line. Garoppolo isn't built to take a lot of hits and has already suffered one serious injury during his short career. I don't get why so many of you are happy with protecting him with 1st round busts. With our current line, JG is bound to get hit A LOT.

You make too much sense. Therefore, youre going to get ridiculed on here.

He was getting crushed by DL running full speed by our OL just whiffing routinely. That can't continue all season.
Man this guy is the wild card on offense. Part of me is very confident that he can take a big leap in year #2 and become the big bodied WR presence we so badly need. The other part of me thinks he is basically a slightly above average WR who is always going to be a #4 or 5 WR. I hope he loses the long sleeves that appear to be to big on him LOL.

we got away with it for five or six games. i am not willing to let that role again for a full season. 2 new guards is what we need. and dmping trent for "gary' is no answer in my opinion
If don't take a WR in the first 3 rounds than Kyle Shanahan has this kid in his plans for sure.

to me he is no wild card. he is just another fourth stringer trying to make the team. we got two wide outs coming off injury. one is getting older. taylor had a nice rookie year. george is injury prone. we need something in the draft or another vet later

hoping he is the answer. hoping ward and aa stay healthy. hoping cooper is a upgrade. lot of hoping and dreaming and hoping that drea,s come true. to me. when you keep the same junk parts and hope for better things. you are going to be really disappointed
Calvin Ridley>Bourne
his combine 40 was 4.68, he is a great example of a receiver who plays faster in pads

Quick feet is what I noticed.

Obviously. I like Calvin Ridley a lot but I would rather go defense with our first pick or even a guard. The question is can Bourne develop into a #2 or #3 WR? I don't think he will ever be a #1 but I could possibly see him developing into a good to very good #2 or #3 WR. We shall see. The guy in the draft that I really like for us is Courtland Sutton in a trade down from 9 or a trade up from the 2nd rd.

Yeah, that killed him. He was projected as a 5th or 6th rd pick and that combine 40 time knocked him out of the draft.

Wow, just noticed that Bourne is a year younger than Ridley lol.
