Alot of that will depend on Garnett this season and whether he will take his game to the next level or not. It sucks he got hurt because he's missing some very valuable time. Fusco is who he is at this point, an average football player. Kilgore is steady when available. We need Garnett to live up to his draft status.

If he plays up to his potential and stays healthy that trade will come back to haunt Seattle for years to come.

Boy do I hope that happens!

49ers OL Erik Magnuson: The versatile and experienced Michigan product could have a chance to crack the lineup in San Francisco after being named to Pro Football Reference's Week 1 team of the week for his performance at center against the Chiefs. The Niners rushed for 188 yards, and Magnuson didn't surrender a single pressure in pass protection, per PFF.

49ers LB Reuben Foster: The Niners' other first-round rookie front-seven defender, Solomon Thomas, likewise deserves a nod. The duo of he and Foster has a heck of a future ahead of it, but the latter brought it in his first game. He showed off flash with his breakup of a potential touchdown pass in Kansas City. Unsurprisingly, Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan has already named him a starter at linebacker, per Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.

Great first impression by these two, keep it up Magnuson.. He had a motor in Michigan.

Yeah the injury to Garnett is huge imo, for the reasons you stated. He needs reps. I'm sure the coaches want to know if he is a long term fixture, a player that doesn't fit, or something in between. Fusco and Beadles are who they are. Maybe this Magnusson dude can step up and push Beadles. Not to mention all offseason I thought that whichever player loses the Center spot between Kilgore/Zuttah would slide to guard. That didn't happen.

God I hope so

Especially with McDowell and his potato ATVing adventures a week before camp.

He's reaching Football God status.

Some Denver beat writer is pissed about the Niners no tweet policy during practice haha! I think he's referring to the team periods during practice. The SF reporters aren't aloud tweeting during those periods either, they can't take video or photos during team sessions of practice. That's the only real hard and fast rule John Lynch has with media as far as reporting team activities. He's fantastic on everything else PR – related

He could be a reason Zuttah was let go

revenge from last year.

This aint no Chip Kelly offense, son.
Tartt back in the starting lineup!

That's the play I saw earlier
I like what I'm hearing from Adrian Colbert. Fast, physical and plays with a meanstreak. He looks like someone they can develop.

I still laugh when I think about the Denver beat writer who tweeted that San Fran was headed inside to "practice their super secret crappy offense".... LOL
