A backup QB normally doesn't play special teams, so they are worthless.

55% turnover is a lot in one off season.

Huh? a backup FB? Really? Celek and Paulsen could play there if needed. And not a fan of 3 QBs, rather keep a 3rd on PS, and have the extra spot for somepne with a future or who can help elsewhere.

I think Nick played well in his brief appearance as 3rd QB. He'll develop (hopefully) on the practice squad and possibly make the team next year if BeatHard starts next year. If the 49ers draft a QB high in next years draft, I can see both Hoyer and Mullens being let go.

2-14 record plus a new organization will do that to the roster.
Looks like we got depth in the trenches and the WR position.

Im content.

so much more speed on offense--at wr and rb--and so much more speed at edge rush on defense!

this rebuild has been so much fun to watch an gives so much hope for what's to come. I'm content, too.
Just want until we comb the waiver wire, this roster isn't done yet!

Evidently, you didn't see him in the San Diego game. He stared down receivers, and even his handoffs to the running backs weren't clean. One about whom it could truly be said, that the game was too big for him.

Until the starter goes down........like ours has before! But you right, the other one can be on speed dial anyway.

Remember when Pete Carroll took over the Seahawks and how many transactions were made? We mocked them for it at the time but it worked out pretty good for them in the end. Some might say they were lucky and blah blah blah.. but until we get better they're the premier team in the NFC West

Brilliant waste of two roster spots you'd have there
