If he goes on I.R. now it can be for the whole season and save a roster spot. If he goes on temp, he has to be on the 53 fur 24 hours first.

Colbert can play CB. I am not sure whether he has gotten the reps there, but I know he did in college.

We are living through history. This has never happened before. It's going to be interesting whether or not ShanaLynch will get any sleep on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

None...as much work has gone into this as the draft. Projecting which players might get cut (like Haden), what to do when that becomes a reality, matching up against our current 53, etc.

Very much so! Personally I'm looking forward to the free agent QB's that will be available after Saturday and to see if ShanaLynch will either work them out after Saturday, or possibly free up a position to get one of these other 1,000 cuts onto the team.

I was perusing the undrafted free agent QB's in this years undrafted free agency cycle and here's a couple of names I randomly picked out.

Zach Therell - Ravens
Phillip Walker - Colts
Tyler Ferguson - Titans
Eli Jenkins - Chargers
Cooper Rush - Cowboys

I wonder if any of these guys will get a tryout with the 49ers after cut down day.

I think, Cooper Rush is not bad the quartback! I think. We should sign him in next year if he is free agent.

lol were not getting rid of Ward. Hes the new regimes favorite cog on D. They think he can play the Earl Thomas role in this D, which is the key player in this scheme.
