6 wide outs is an awful lot. i would rather do five and use the open spot for an area i think is in need which i have already opinionated on
There's NO way that we're not keeping 6 WR's this season. Victor Bolden has assured himself a roster spot and has given Shanny & Co. a seriously hard decision for other position groups. Pierre Garcon, Marquise Goodwin, Jeremy Kerley, Trent Taylor, and I think Aldrick Robinson are locks. Neither Victor Bolden nor Kendrick Bourne are lasting a day on the practice squad. And of those two Victor Bolden has shown more. We'd be fools to cut Bolden. So IMHO we almost GOTTA keep 6.

Kerley's an incredibly dependable, incredibly non-sexy WR who at an absolutely minimum provides good depth at both WR and in the return game.

He's almost the perfect case of the type of player that coaches keep despite fans protesting that he made the roster over some bright and shiny (but overall limited) player of the week.

Said it a couple times now but Bolden's best path to the roster is if Hightower makes it over Mostert (and we could play that "dependable" vs. "bright shiny object" game with those two also).
If this was 3 years ago and a SB contending team, yes.

But if he is on the roster next year, i do not think we have improved. Or we had some devastating injuries late this year.

I feel he is the #4 at best this year, likely the #5, and He is not an explosive returner. With juz, kittle, garcon, and even taylor showing great hands, his chain moving ability is not super valuable.

If taylor is now the #2or #3 i am not sure i want him returning punts.

So now we have the #5 up for grabs with bolden, bourne, burbidge, and patrick.

I think it is bolden, with burbidge and bourne competing for a #6 with their ST coverage. And patrick to the PS.

LOL...somehow I'll live. Won't be happy if we keep Celek though.

This is damn near perfect I agree with only carrying 2 TEs with juice. I'm not sure if Pita makes the 53. I feel like I'd rather open another spot at CB. I'm guessing that can change after all the teams make cuts

Good PS indeed. But i seriously doubt that Bourne last there. He'll wind up on someones 53.

Patriots need a PR

He'd be an inactive 7 here though. They did try him as a gunner last night and he made one really nice tackle.

Nailed it, for today, but I wonder if there is player or two about to be cut elsewhere who Lynch might snap up. This may be what we see tonight, but monday there might be some tweaks.

Also, I think with KJ, our "offensive weapon" able to play TE, you are spot on with only two TE's on the 53.

Normally I don't agree with AB but in this case... wait...yes I do!

Thanks everyone and thanks NC you gave me a good laugh lol. I agree that this won't be the exact 53 come Monday. Need an upgrade at CB IMO.

Yeah but it seems like all the beat writers have 3 TEs making it.

That's very possible. Kyle did state he has scouted Celek for a while now.
