If we cut Bolden that's a mistake. A big one. He's gonna be a special return man, I guarantee that.

we got guys who can return punts and guys who can catch better than him. he is gone

Who? We thought you wanted explosive game changing players?

i think taylor and kerley can more than take care of this. in my opinion a want for a punt returner who does little in the pass receiving department. as i stated we have multiple holes to fill. no need to cop an attitude first thing. if bolden makes it. fine but i do not think he is much of a factor in the passing game and if this were five years ago. we can afford that type of luxury of a one trick pony. to me,. we have more holes to fill and i hope some can be addressed by finding some guys who were cut by other teams this weekend. sorry if i am going against the mob on this one. last time i checked it was more than ok to have a different opinion of a football player.

Neither are homerun threats and you want your two 5'8" starting WR's fielding all punt and kickoff returns? Maybe one...

all i know i like how we have improved the wide outs and the running backs. it all depends on what the o line does but the team has upgraded itself in the skills positions department. i will just let the return thing sort itself out

I mean what WR at the bottom of the roster is much of a factor in the passing game though...if they keep 6 WRs that last spot very well comes down to ST value.

6 wide outs is an awful lot. i would rather do five and use the open spot for an area i think is in need which i have already opinionated on

Yeah gonna depend what they do, Kyle talked about 5 or 6 a week ago. I feel like we've kept 6 for the past couple yrs.

Anyway any of these guys at the bottom of the roster need to have ST value, which he does.

It's gonna be interesting to see what happens...imo if they don't keep him he will be on a active roster elsewhere
I would not keep Aaron Lynch. He has no motor. Once he can't get to the QB, he stands around and watches instead of turning and pursuing full speed.

Yeah. The sixth isn't active on gamedays anyway, and I don't think they have anyone they absolutely need to protect from waivers. I'd be totally fine just rolling with five and sending Bourne and Bolden to the PS.

I agree. But i am just starting to think kerley is gone.
I think he has been passed by taylor and goodwin, robinson can do a lot. And i do not think kerley makes it as a #5.

And i think bolden will be the 5th, and do both KR/PR duties. Also mostert makes it as the 3rd RB. In a pinch or for matchip purposes taylor can go PR and mostert can go KR.

Also bolden last night got open, made a great catch on a bad throw, and tried on a nother terrible throw.

Bolden won't clear waivers

And even if he doesn't the 9ers already have guys who will be on the active 46 who are good KR/PRs while also contributing to other spots.

I mean, I don't think it's entirely impossible that someone else cuts one of their 53 to try out Bolden as their return specialist as part of their 46, but I wouldn't bet money on it.
