Given the specifics of George Kittle's January 11th Achilles tear, sounds like a September return is in play.

Seems relevant. It guarantees nothing for Big George, though.

When Kittle said the docs told him it was the best-case scenario for his type of injury and they expect a full recovery, I got my hopes up.

49ers hopeful about Kittle playing week 1, says Lynch.
It seems that George will be back early. If not week 1, he might miss 4 games, I'm thinking. All good news coming out of the Kittle camp these days

Im thinking he will be ready to go week 1, but they play it safe for a few weeks.

The niners big stars are old and need to be replaced. Start with Kittle's replacement if he's available at #27-Sadiq. If Williams can be replaced go for it. McCaffery-slow him down and give him more help. Juice should be easy enough to replace. We're way past Bill Walsh-think on all of them.

Not at all. Williams is still playing at a top three level, Kittle top one and McCaffrey top three. It would be crazy to replace them. Maybe you need to watch some film or the games to see how effective they are when playing. Now it wouldn't hurt to get their eventually replacements or to rotate them out a few places here and there

George Kittle on his rehab from his Achilles injury:
— Coach Yac 🗣 (@Coach_Yac) April 14, 2026
"The rehab is actually pretty straightforward. You either do standing calf raises or seated calf raises until you can run and walk and stuff. So I'm walking. I got off of crutches a couple weeks ago. We're back on a golf… pic.twitter.com/qZw5SINtc1

We all know Kittle is a bad ass, please do not rush him back!!! It's cool if he comes back after the bye for me. I rather see him in the playoffs than fall short of it.

Of course the Rams will get the benefit of playing us overseas without Kittle, a player who destroys the Rams.
