1st Team All Pro - TE George Kittle Thread

It's just funny to me, that so much of this talk is because David Bonilla - who I don't even know HOW he gets his articles published, since he's usually clueless...posted an article quoting a source that has ALREADY been proven wrong recently by Kittle himself.

Every year our players hold out because they want more money. LOL. Realistically 31 year old Kittle probably has more of his best behind him than ahead of him. As much as people don't want to hear it. So I don't think TE is our biggest issue. But it's yet another position we will eventually have to replace and get younger. My preference is not for this year. If you did it's the Penn State kid. But we have much bigger needs. I wouldn't get carried away with a huge contract at his age. Because age and injuries will get him now.

And I can't blame them. They watch Paraag Marathe lay down and bend over like a total ***** every single September. It's no surprise they all keep saying "ohhh I want some more!! I'M HOLDING OUT!!!" every year.

FFS even CMC and Trent did this last year with MULTIPLE years under contract and Marathe just said "yes dear here you go here's a massive chunk of our cap space to do nothing" and then they just sat on the bench for 75% of the season and sucked the other 25% they played.

Our problem isn't that we have greedy players who don't care about the game. It's that we have a marshmallow for a salary cap manager. Give us someone with a spine like what the Eagles have and I can assure you our team would be more focused on winning than their bank accounts.

...or Loveland. He has climbed up to an equivalent level on the big boards of some credible draft experts.

Honestly if we got Tyler Warren I won't feel that bad. Yeah not what we need THIS year. But we aren't going anywhere this year anyway. Kittle is 31. Wants more money. Warren is the closest thing to Gronk since Gronk coming in the league. If you get the next Gronk for 12+ years he's probably worth that pick. He's better than an offensive or defensive line bust. But I would rather have a hit on the lines. I wouldn't feel terrible about the pick though and it wouldn't be as bad as people on here would think.
