Screw it, I'd give up a 2nd. Don't just "go hard" John Lynch, go get him.
Locker room cancer. PASS.
Maybe. But why all of a sudden this year. Never really been a diva before. Top 5 WR. That said not worth locker room chemistry disruption.

He can request whatever he wants. Pittsburgh is looking at a 20 mil cap hit to move him. It's just not financially viable.
If he really wants out, that contract can be worked around, but both sides have to agree to altering the contract currently in place. And that likely means a new deal be a requirement for Brown from any team acquiring his services.
A lot to it in essence, and we are a long way from any moves being made. Steelers have shown they will dig their heels in, the Bell drama proved that. Time will tell if the fence can be mended or not.
I would not bet on a trade at this stage though.
IMO, you'd win that bet.

Probably a question for AB then who might have a better grasp on it.

Cap hit is 20 mil now 7 mil in June. So we'll see where this stands 6 months from now. Plenty of time for them to mend the fence.

Hes always been a diva. And he's immature. Remember when he was recording video of the Steelers private locker room lecture from Tomlin? He was hiding around the corner and taping it to be funny. Then Tomlin saw him post it and he got in trouble for violating team rules.
Culture is huge. Its the reason why weve been crap for 2 years and are STILL 100% bought in and playing hard. The last thing we need is a diva wideout that's going to play games with the staff and FO the minute he's unhappy with playing time or targets.
Not interested in the cancerous players.

My understanding is once signing bonus is paid you are on the hook. Once you do a restructure bonus to pay less for a year (As they did for this season) you are also on the hook. I don't know that you can reduce what's already been paid but I'm no expert.

Looks like you're right but there's a way where they can cut or trade him where they take a 7 mil hit this year, 14 mil next year.

Yah after June 1st. Then the question is does Pittsburgh want to get picks for 2019 but have nothing to show in 2018.

Scary coming into a Kittle thread and start reading things about trades and cutting.

No to Brown or Beckham! Cut Garcon lose too.
Kittle, Bourne, Goodwin, Taylor, and Pettis with Garoppolo in full control is a great thing. Keep building.

Didn't he arrive at training camp one year in a chartered helicopter? And I think he was driven to another training camp opening in a chauffeured driven classic car. I know it is probably something he wants to try and top every year, but that screams diva.
