my god,,. another , we do not need someone who can make us better... we did not need mack or bell and now we do not need brown. nothing will come out of it most likely. but if there is a chance to get a guy like this.. i would gladly dump any wide out to make room for him.. some of you act like we are a 12 win team and do not need anything for next year

A lot to it in essence, and we are a long way from any moves being made. Steelers have shown they will dig their heels in, the Bell drama proved that. Time will tell if the fence can be mended or not.

I would not bet on a trade at this stage though.

Hes always been a diva. And he's immature. Remember when he was recording video of the Steelers private locker room lecture from Tomlin? He was hiding around the corner and taping it to be funny. Then Tomlin saw him post it and he got in trouble for violating team rules.

Culture is huge. Its the reason why weve been crap for 2 years and are STILL 100% bought in and playing hard. The last thing we need is a diva wideout that's going to play games with the staff and FO the minute he's unhappy with playing time or targets.

My understanding is once signing bonus is paid you are on the hook. Once you do a restructure bonus to pay less for a year (As they did for this season) you are also on the hook. I don't know that you can reduce what's already been paid but I'm no expert.

Looks like you're right but there's a way where they can cut or trade him where they take a 7 mil hit this year, 14 mil next year.

Didn't he arrive at training camp one year in a chartered helicopter? And I think he was driven to another training camp opening in a chauffeured driven classic car. I know it is probably something he wants to try and top every year, but that screams diva.
