The crazy thing is, it might not be too early to say this.

He's already lapped the next best season (Vernon Davis' 965) by more than 400 yards.

Imagine if VD stopped jumping up for every reception.

Brent Jones is the goat but Kittle will pass him quickly.

What do those 2 things have to do with each other? They weren't even in the same draft.

Brent Jones not even top 2 lol. Loved him but Vernon was better. Even with his weird jumping into tacklers, crying, and terrible painting in the offseason
The f**kin man!!
Remember when he was an "injury prone player that lacks toughness" last season.

Meh, 3 rings, 11 seasons, 4 probowls annihilates VD.

This is obviously subjective but imo it's not even close. Jones didn't need to jump, he put everything on the line.

So true and the occasional butt-crack sighting.

Completely agree. Jones was consistent, reliable and a true winner.

Does that make better Craig than Gore? And down the list.

This.

Love Brent, but Kittle and VD would put up 1500+ every season in that era.
If you tilt your head and squint your eyes while you look at Kittle it sort of looks like he was our #3 overall pick and Solomon was the 5th rounder.

It's debatable. As far as 9er careers go.

For the record, Brent has stated many times that he wasn't sh!t compared to Vernon. He says Vernon is better than him in every aspect of the position. The radio guys in the Bay Area would try and give him props and he would just laugh at them and blow off any talk like that.

Too early to call with Kittle, but he's off to a great start as a 49ers TE.
