Exactly. Most of the people in here upset about this move obviously don't focus on Juice during games. I think this was a good moves. They can upgrade and get cheaper.

Agreed. Excited to see the changes on the team. We made deep runs with a great core who was just getting too old. Time to switch it up on offense while also getting a younger team core

^This. I'm in your one of a few too
I'm with you guys. Juice played 50% of the snaps last year and has become less and less of a passing option each season, and if Juice's money can get us added depth along the DL or secondary then it's a probably going to put us in a better position compared to if we had kept Juice.
Sad to see him go, but it was time.

I will miss the leadership and also his toe drag catch against the Lions was legendary...but yeah Im with yall. dude looked slow last year and messed up on a lot of blocks.

He had a LOT of negative plays. Way too many for his salary. That goal line fumble against Buffalo was one of many poor plays.

They aren't going to use the money saved to upgrade those positions. They haven't used any of the other money saved elsewhere to upgrade positions.

It was time. Had some great moments and loved his intensity but production was declining and we can't justify the expense. Hard decision for sure but also the right one. Props to the front office for doing what needed doing.
