What has Jim Harbaugh done lately? Or Kevin Stefanski? This take makes no sense.

Now if it isn't Baltimore or Pittsburgh offering the job, if he is wise, he will pass. There are Arizona, Tennessee, and Las Vegas type of jobs available very year.

I mean Harbs won a national title before getting his offer...
He did but I'm referring to the NFL. No team is going to be out on him off of one bad game with the level of talent he had in a playoff game.

I think this year proved how much Bosa and Warner elevate the others around them. A LOT has been masked by their talent. With that said, I think Mykel, Huff in his proper role as a 3rd down edge rusher, and one other pass rushing DE should bring back the pass rush to our D.

We need to a add a DT that can rush the QB some

Definitely. Left off pass rushing 3T but it's a need also.

Harbaugh has won a SB as a HC....his career win percentage is.614 vs Saleh who's never led a team above.500. Stsfanski actually took the browns to the playoffs twice which is enormous when you consider they have the worst FO in football.

I'm not saying Saleh is equal to or better than Harbaugh. BUT you said its a what have you done for me lately league. Either the league is that way or not. In the same way the Giants overlooked this last season and saw Harvsugh's history and hired him & the Falcons overlooked recent Browns history and saw Stefanski's body of work, teamd interviewing Saleh know hos history as well. He built top defense in San Francisco and in New York.

The only pause I can see is his plan at QB and OC.

I hope Saleh thinks about staying at least one more year. I wanted to see what he could do with a healthy D and maybe a couple more added pieces.

But wouldn't be surprised if he runs for another HC job to. Why go through another year of this if it happens again.

I think he will go after the Steelers or Ravens gig. If not, I think he pulls himself out of the market. He already had a dysfunctional experience in NYJ.

Ideally, he stays for one more season so we get two third round picks.

That is ideal. ... There are jobs out there that would fit Saleh's needs, but I too hope he stays with us.
Godspeed Saleh

Too bad teams can't have a clause in the contract that says an OC or DC must stay at least 2 seasons.

That's where I'm at, those are good stable organisations, the rest are dumpster fires. I can see them both preferring the younger guys in Minter and Shula, and I'm all for that.

It was always gonna be a challenge for Saleh and the defense once Bosa and Fred went down.
Who are our top options when Saleh leaves?
please don't be Gus Bradley

Jim Schwartz>Raheem Morris>Gus Bradley

He might take this one depending on how he feels about Cam Ward.

He will be fired in 3 years with that job.

While I selfishly want him to stay hiring him who knows jack s**t about QB development is ridiculous.

It's the question I have as well, if Saleh leaves, who do we get?
I don't think Schwartz would wanna be a coach under Shanahan, Morris and Bradley don't thrill me whatsoever

I kind of wish McDaniels would rejoin Shanahan, but that's a discussion for the offense thread.
And I don't see him taking a coordinator role.

I really want to try something else than a wide-9 soft zone main philosophy if Saleh leaves.

But its on Kyle to accept going into that direction.
If we do wide-9 again then we need someone with energy and leadership over scheme.
