If I was him, I'd take that Baltimore job In a heart beat. By far the best job available and he can get a guy like McDaniels.

If Saleh goes to the cards, then he learned nothing about his time in NY. Lol cards ownership is is trash.

Baltimore has to actually offer it to him first.

True plus he satisfies the rooney rule so some of these interviews might be fugazi. there are a lot openings though and it doesn't look like any college coaches will be taking these jobs

Of course. lol that goes for any position. He should be picky this time around. The owner and front office you partner with is critical to your success. Most of the teams looking for head coaches are doing so every couple years.
if he wants a chance - he needs to partner with a team owner that genuinely cares about building a consistent contender. Teams like the cardinals aren't that.

I'm surprised that some of these teams let their HC go - mainly because the candidate Pool this year isn't great. If there were 2-3 hot candidates - like ben Johnson was, it would make more sense, IMO.

It's not up to us. I'm sure the team would love to keep him. Unfortunately it's unlikely with so many HC jobs open right now and potentially a few more opening up after this WC round.
Most of the jobs available I didn't think would be great fits for Saleh with either no QB in place or bad ownership/too much turnover...then Ravens fired John Harbaugh.
I'm hoping they go with an offensive minded HC but if Saleh can bring in Mike McDaniels...it's game over.

I might be in the minority but I think Saleh is meh. He is better than we had the last couple years and we can definitely do worse but I don't think he's anything special.

You think McDaniels would play under Saleh when he's been a HC longer and had more success?

I'm with you and would like to grab Schwartz while we can and not get screwed over with Saleh leaving once all good DCs are grabbed. We'll be stuck with Bradley and who knows is Bradley doesn't just leave with him as well, then we're really in trouble all over again.

No, but he might now have a choice unless he takes a year off.

That would be a damn good combo. I do think McDaniels might have HC oppos too though, there's a lot of openings
