Let me add the niners are still 1-3 and have given up an avg of 29.5 points a game. So nope.
Basically. Baby steps would be to stop asking Thomas to cover a RB on wheel routes.

Youth on defense is an issue: ages from ESPN
31 1 Mitchell*^
30 2 Sherman*, Watson
29 1 M Smith*
28 1 Nzeocha
27 4 K Williams, Ward, Exum, Coyle
26 2 Tartt*, Marsh
25 1 Blair
24 8 Armstead*, Buckner*, Colbert*, Day, Foster*, Harris, Mabin, Powell
23 4 DJ Jones, Taylor, Thomas*, Witherspoon*
22 2 E Lee, Moore
21 2 Warner*, Reed
The majority of starters* are 24 years old or younger (7). For some reason Mitchell was not listed on the roster but was on their depth chart.^

Saleh will be hushing his critics this weekend. He's going against a rookie QB who's wet behind the ears. I expect our defense to shine, but it'll probably be fool's gold.

I agree, outside of Buckner there is little reliable and proven talent. Hopefully Foster and Warner get there and a few others elevate to promising.

What's considered an explosive? I'd say they lead the league in explosive diarrhea plays.

Better chance of our defense making Rosen look like Mahomes, then Saleh hushing critics. That's laughable. People were saying the same thing before the KC game. "Hes putting up numbers against bad defenses". "Saleh will confuse the young QB". 😂 Yea that worked out well 🙄.

I see what you mean. But it's the Cards, and they're not good at all.
Our defense will possibly have their best game of the year, and most of niner talk will be convinced we've arrived. But like I said, it'll be fool's gold.

LOL. This.
Dead last per PFF at the quarter mark and tops in missed tackles with 51. I hope we can turn it around.

My guess is that Rosen has a game that has people talking about proof of why the Cards selected him blah blah blah.
