This dude has just done an amazing job with very little talent. I don't think this defense is good and that is what is so impressive about every game that they continue to show up and perform.

The 49ers' defense has put together excellent performances in back-to-back weeks. Three weeks actually, if you count the empty-yards game against AZ.

They've given up an average of 13 points/game over the last three games. You can see them starting to really gel now as a unit.…

I don't see why would. He had a terrible season with the jets so might as well be the best defensive coordinator.

I could see the Cleveland team we just beat - with whom he was runner up when they hired Stefanski - hiring him as their next HC.

After his experience with the Jets, I can't imagine Saleh wanting to go to an organization like the Browns.

Ya. A lot of coaches will get that 2nd shot with teams, but rarely do you seem them get a 3rd if they aren't somewhat proven. If he goes to the Browns and it doesn't end well, he won't get another shot at a HC position for quite some time.

i hope Saleh realizes that he got his guaranteed money payday with the Jets, and most open jobs end up being a massive headache that put you in an un-winnable situation. Let the Niners pay you top tier DC money, stay and win a SB and build a HOF legacy as a coordinator.

Take the Dick LeBeau or Jim Johnson route.

You can't save a crappy franchise
You need a franchise QB or an offensive genius OC to stay relevant.
Any good offensive assistant will get poached etc

Look at the Lions and Ravens. Went from world beaters to not even playoff teams just by losing a coordinator.

There's a reason Kyle calls his own plays and Nick Saban coaches his own defense.

I honestly can't believe how good he is. With this patchwork group. They play good defense, get off the field, win games and keep us in the playoff hunt. How does he do it? It's incredible with the injuries he has.
