It's week 5 guys and a lot of your perceptions are baked into those odds.

Most of us know how great of a coach Kyle is. The other candidates at the top of that list are off to a great start as well.
For me, I don't even pay attention to that stuff cause I know Kyle is not winning it no matter what.. It's just the irony of the award

Kyle is just the son of a great coach and father that told him all he knows...just a system guy...

...Brock Purdy was drafted last so he doesn't get props either.

I don't think it was just because he was drafted last. I think it's more about his physical stature. His level of play is stsrting to make people around the league accept the fact that he's a good QB and many of them wish they had taken him. If he can lead the team to a SB title then you may see a trend in ther league where teams start looking at QBs that have 4-6 years of college starts instead of the 2 year physical specimens. We're starting to see it now with the NIL and transfer portal allowing QBs to stay in college longer. Some teams may decide it's better to grab that premier edge rusher or OT in the first round and take a QB that has 4-6 years of experience in a later round.

His stature plays into it bc he was a 7th round pick. If he was 6'4 and drafted in the 7th, nobody would be batting an eye. They would say s**t like he's the next Brady, but also athletic.

It's just hard to fathom QBs being that short and successful bc it rarely happens nowadays.
Rarely happens or hardly given the chance. I think the latter

I love Kyle but he had 9 months to figure something out versus this Sea defense and he has yet to figure anything out.

Nothing has worked in our last what 4 games or whatever. Some other team has to have had success somewhere against them. Like WTF can't he figure this defense out? We cant get any "easy" yards from his typical scheming
BEST F**KING COACH IN THE NFL!!!
ILMC
DrL crying in his fruit loops.
Toughest of wins. Take care of business against Washington Monday night and in Atlanta against an explosive offense the week after and get to the bye 7-0.
Well f**king done man

Those wins Macdonald has are against some severely undermanned 49er squads. Even it out like today and this is what you get. A big win on the road in a hostile environment.

We won but it really wasn't because of Kyle. Our only real drive was just Brock and Evans

If we lose he gets blamed for everything - every - single - time. May not have been his greatest play calling game, but as head coach he's responsible for more than just that and deserves the praise.

What do you expect Kyle to do? There isn't some magic schematic formula that is going to win against an elite defense if the players aren't able to execute.
I was hoping Kyle would spread them out.. but he wanted to protect Purdy as much as possible.. I still love my coach

Once we have Pearsall, Stribling, Deebo and Evans on the field at the same time let's do it. Have Kittle play inline to help block and then release.

What could have been on the WR corps. Yikes.

Even just seeing what a difference Evans makes, it's no wonder that Kyle was looking to break Seattle by putting weapons all over the field.
