The 49ers will likely win Sunday against a Rams' team resting their starters and close the season out on a five game winning streak. I think it's a nice story book ending to the season. This season has gone perfect for a team that was looking to start a new rebuild and play a ton of young players along the way. The team went through a long streak of competitive games where they weren't able to close the deal early in the season. They flipped that on the tail end of the season.
The team will now go out on a high note. The team did nothing to damage Jimmy's confidence once he was entrenched as the starter. He's only going to get better. He's still only been in this offense for two months and you can bet the league has taken notice of him. The team will go into the offseason with 100 plus mil in cap space. Your quarterback is your star attraction. With a rising quarterback now set in place, it's going to be alot easier to find decent players that want to play in San Francisco, rather than show "interest" to drive up their bargaining chips. Lower draft pick or not, it's been a fun last month. Now let's go get some lineman and keep that smile shining on our quarterback's face.
