The scenario wasn't "the worse possible thing" because no one was killed. Do you know the Santa Clara area? Do you know how many people have been killed by getting hit by a car there? Let's just say someone was jaywalking, and Kyle hit them. Kyle would have been in much bigger trouble. I f**king signal in parking lots even if there are no cars in the vicinity, just out of habit of signaling on the roads and highways. It's a good habit to have.

But yes of course I've reached down to get my phone when I was young. Before Bluetooth in cars were a thing. And I remember thinking HOLY S**T why the f**k did I just do that. I believe I was at a stop light behind someone, and even though I had my foot on the brakes... for some reason as I reached down, my foot let up and the car creeped forward and I almost shat myself because the b******t I would have to go through from even bumping someone from behind (back then). I took that moment serious going forward. I can't imagine doing something like that while driving into an intersection or freeway.

So yes when I was young, when cellphones (and plans) started getting more affordable. I didn't have someone to tell me, be careful this can happen because of a cellphone. So I would HOPE any young person reading this right now, doesn't get the impression just because you're young...you're allowed to make mistakes. You're only allowed to make mistakes, if there is no tragic outcome.

I live in NY and yes I understand how roads, cars and pedestrians work.

The reality of it is there's millions of people driving every single day and phones are being used, dropped, picked up etc etc. I have two little ones that are constantly screaming about wanting this or that and I have to reach around or turn around to see what the problem is sometimes…..Is it the smartest thing you could do in that situation, no. Is it the worst thing a person can do? Absolutely not. It's life and all of that is part of it. You do the best you can.

no one is perfect, no one has their hands on the wheel at 10 & 2 facing straight ahead 24/7. So let's stop acting like Kyle is the only one not doing that.

the fact that you're trying so incredibly hard to make this scenario more sinister or something that you'd never dare do is ridiculous man. We all understand where your bias is.

live and learn, no one got seriously hurt. We as people should try to be the best we can in those situations, but at the end or the day we're just people and aren't perfect 24/7.

When I drop or my phone falls or anything falls down by legs from where I placed it, I pick it up. Due to thinking that it may even get caught underneath the pedals

but as for Af's faking he such a responsible driver, I don't buy it one bit. The way his scatter brain off the wall post doesn't fit with the cool, calm collected driver he says he is. lol

I could never watch more than like a minute of Cohn until now. I am not saying I will tune in to him now lol but that was a good podcast with him and his dad.

Love what his dad said about the critics of Kyle, "F**k 'em". Also what he said about Aiyuk, "Go f**k yourself."

Yeah Lowell is great. Bill Walsh confided in Grant's dad all the time back in the day for press releases and team news back when everyone read the actual newspaper because it was their only outlet to sports news. Kyle made a mistake but fessed up to it. We're all human people make mistakes. Shoot I remember when we hired Dennis Erickson back in the day. He was three sheets to the wind and got pulled over and arrested for DUI. It happens. Normally it doesn't take two weeks to find out but a late confession is better than no confession

Yep, for sure. And the a*****es don't understand that.

I sure hope he makes a full recovery. The concussion sounds worrisome but hopefully, he will get all healed up. It's good he was close to Stanford and got excellent care.
