Personally, no thank you. I love Harbaugh and I think he's a great coach, but Kyle's no nonsense factual X's and O's is more refreshing to me than the rah rah stuff. I remember Walsh describing what kind of stats the team needed to beat the other team ( for example he'd say the team needs 150 yards rushing, 200 yards passing, 2 sacks, etc...) and usually he was right. Kyle's just like that, we'll see if he continues his success - he has a long way to get to the kind of success that even his dad, had but it sure looks promising.
Don't get me wrong, I PREFER Kyle's style of handling business, his intellectual approach to the game, etc. Very Bill Walsh or Chuck Noll-esque. Takes us back to our roots. However, I still have that feeling. How often is a 5-10 team the envy of the league?

Agreed. Clearly that was an aberration. So realistically, are we improved interior O-line, a receiver (calling Calvin Ridley), and healthy Pierre Garcon and Joe WIlliams from being top-5 or just outside? It doesn't seem unreasonable. It also leaves us in a position where we can use multiple draft picks on defensive players. If we were to have the draft today, there are only two offensive players I'd take (within the first 3 rounds). Not to neglect the offense, but put the defense in a position where they can get stops when necessary. I can easily see us turning into the Saints after Bounty-gate. High octane offense, but the defense holding them back. We need those missing players that can put some fear in offenses and offensive coordinators alike.
